    Am I the only one expecting this expansion to retcon ALOT of the history we've taken for granite, or even shale. Everyone knows the story of the multi-national expedition, Shadow Lord, blah blah blah, but they've offered multiple explanations about who/what the dark divinity was that created the Shadow Lord. RoZ - no dark divinity but by contact with crystal line or mother crystals. CoP - Promathia's will, emptiness, dark magicite. Tau - either influenced by or made a deal with Odin. WoG - 4th explanation altogether. Hopefully one goal of this expansion is to give a clear cut answer to the events that took place and who was pulling the strings(zomg SL was an automaton and the real boss is a PUP?!?! >.>)

    Bet the pixies will be Dancers, don't think the beastmen were using that job during the war. They picked it up sometime later in dynamis.

    Another goal I'd hope to see addressed by this expansion is about the tonberry and Uggalepih. Sure one interpretation of history states Uggalepih is their twisted ideal of Altana, but another version states that Altana and Uggalepih were two separate divinities that were at odds. This would be a good expansion to wrap up alot of these loose ends.

    Haven't you noticed that pretty much ALL weapon skills are like that? Only original animations/motions are for the 255 and quest WS, which vary from race to race (which is probably why all the other WS are just existing attack motions). Sword WS have got to me the most uninspiring though, most of them have the fucking fast blade motion.

    He was already the SL by the time he met the Dark Divinity/Odin. Odin just gave him his army of demons. The magicite was somehow involved, either it was needed for them to transport here, was part of some deal, or he used it to somehow control or communicate with Odin.

    I'm more interested in what seems to be an end-game area involving Atomos

    In addition, a new, mysterious area has been revealed to the public. It appears to be made up of numerous floating islands, and has an ominous feel to it. You can see a fountain, as well as other man-made constructs, but wherever this place may be is still shrouded in mystery.

    Pretty sure that's the portal that takes you back in time (probably the first time you use it).

    Does anyone notice the architecture in that strange world? It looks similar to that of Castle Zvahl but the fountain looks a little like San d'Oria.

    epic dosent even begin to describe the potential for this sotryline. Theres just so much backstory from each nation's NPCs and history they can go into, also more backstory on whats up with SL/Promathia/Odin connection plus as we've already seen there's entirely new stuff we dont even know about yet.

    Sounds like the time they came to sneak Taru through Garlaige Citadel to help fight in the war.
    but, didn't the yagudo alert the orcs who went in and killed every last sandorian inside Garliage?

    Doesn't this info sort of point to Atomos being the "Dark divinity" that was above the Shadow Lord? Or maybe Atomos is another tool of this DD (Atomos doesn't seem like much of a thinking villian, just a weapon) or something.

    I can't wait, this expansion looks amazing so far. Any chance that there are going to be 3 mission lines for each city in this one?

    my friend and I have a theory that the lightbringer summoned atomos and caused a wormhole to suck tavnazia out of vanadiel... that purple place looks like it could be the remants of tavnazia in the dimension it was warped to...

    i'm not too sure about the history of cape riverne, but it could be possible that cape riverne is the way it is due to almost being sucked up. (i know formal description says earthquake, but that would just be the undetailed explanation)

    I'd disagree because of the intro movie, where we saw Tavnazia being baited by the Alliance. Also Lightbringer was never actually in Tavnazia, I believe it was still in San D'oria

    If you look at Cape Riverne from a distance, does'nt it look like its being sucked up into one point far in the distance?

    My bets on that place ebing tavnazia too.

    you're right, sorry maybe not the lightbringer, but "the secret weapon used by the beastmen in the middle of the night" could've been atomos

    Looks more like Time/space is distorted, hence the Spacial Distortions you need to travel through. Could Indicated Atomos was there, or possibly a gate's inside. Hey, can explain how beastmen are currently populating Tavnazia, wandering through time and space. Because you'd figure the Tavnazian knights would've wiped them out. though you can say the same about Giddeus, Gheslba and Palbourough.

    No there was no secret weapon it was Rochefogne unsheathing the Lightbringer whilst fleeing Tavnazia that severed the peninsula from the main land

    definetly explained this way in the San d'Orian missions

    On the point of why there so many beastman in Tavnazia? They're remnants of the beastmen that stormed Tavnazia before it fell, there aren't enough survivors to get rid of them (though you'd think after trade opened up with Jeuno they'd reclaim the old town and build it back up again)
