    Question about iPod video conversion

Heya, just picked up one of the new iPod classics and have been exploring putting some videos on it. It seems they use a completely new type of video, so to get them on you need a video converter. Unfortunately the only shareware one I've found pumps them out with the audio completely out of sync with the video. . . annoying as hell.

Anyone know a cheap good alternative? I wouldn't mind shelling out 20-30 dollars for a program that works swimmingly. Any suggestions?

Re: Question about iPod video conversion

"Fifth and sixth generation iPod classics, as well as third generation iPod nanos, can additionally play MPEG-4 (H.264/MPEG-4 AVC) and QuickTime video formats, with restrictions on video dimensions, encoding techniques and data-rates."

Get an H.264,MPEG-4 AVC, MPEG-2, or MPEG-1 encoder and use MP4 as the container or just find converter that outputs QuickTime .movs.
