Need new phone!

So, i've been needing a new phone lately, seeing as i've been using my Sidekick2 for about 2 and a half years? I'm looking for somthing with

- Picture msg'ing
- Keyboard cause i'm use to typing like on the sidekick lol
- Downloadable Ringtones

Also my service is T-mobile.

Any suggestions would be awesome!

Sidekick LX should be out late October, while the Sidekick Slide has no release date yet.

Edit: Oh yeah, T-Mobile just got the Blackberry Curve if you're interested in a BB.

Fuck the sidekick. Quality has been going down with every revision of that hardware. Get a blackberry if you insist on a keyboard.

honestly, not looking for another sidekick, tired of them. any other suggestions? phones that are unlockable, that are no from T-mobile maybe? up for anything haha

Helio's are CDMA (Sprint) phones so you can't use those with T-mobile (GSM). Iphone doesn't do picture messaging unless you wanna do emails...

I would just go with a Blackberry, I'm currently using a BB Curve and it's pretty nice. Probably gonna switch to the HTC Kaiser once AT&T gets it though.

What does it mean when it "can't or can be unlocked"?

if a phone is unlocked, you can take a AT&T phone and plug in a T-mobile sim card and it will work (and vice versa)

i just got the t-mobile wing, and its a quality phone, my gf bought an unlocked treo 650 for like 300, and she seems to like it too

HTC Kaiser (aka: Cingular 8925) is supposedly coming to T-Mobile. If you're willing to be patient, it should be pretty much what you're looking for.
