Am I like the only one that was dissapointed? I thought it had it's moments but overall I didn't think it was that great I laughed a few times, but for an hour long epi I think they coulda done better.

I agree completely. I felt most of it was pretty stale. I think the Tattooine, Wind, and Fire comment, and the Red roll-calls were the only two parts that caught me off guard and made me laugh.

How did you not laugh at the part where Herbert was singing? Or when Peter was doing the call-in radio show? Or the couch bit? It was a great episode though and through, but those parts were beyond amazing.

I thought the herbert part was funny, I thought the couch bit was a tad overdone.

Really though, the fact that a good majority was exactly as the movie was with dialog and everything I just didn't find funny. I stopped watching it after about 45 minutes so maybe the last 15 was unbearably funny, but I just didn't think so. It had it's moments but on the whole when they have an hour to work with I just expected more, especially as a season premier. i guess I fall in the minority, but it was a far cry from earlier seasons.

I expect more dry and pushing the envelope humor from family guy, and thought this episode was more of an un-delivering parody.

I also liked it when the guy went "And I'm only 2 days from retirement!"... there were a lot of small references.

Just wish there had been a reference to xbox live when Peter put on the headset to shoot the Thai (sic) fighters.

The call-in radio show was lame, and the couch bit was the same couch bit I've seen on just about every stand-up comedy routine and sitcom in the past 15 years. I agree when Skyy said it was undelivering parody.

That was a funny line for sure. I laughed really hard near the beginning when the one rebel said, "what if they don't come through this door?"

There were a few overdone parts, but on the whole, I thought the number of jokes and subtle pop culture references were spot on. The last 30 seconds was amazing too.
