    NIN does the same thing
    he's talking about /mnk not mnk/

mostly the idea (least in my mind) comes from the fact that pets without MNK or NIN only attack with one hand. Well what would happen and how would damage be affected if you gave a pet that normally uses a one handed weapon (or in my SAM crabs case a 2hd weapon) the ability to attack with 2 weapons/hands. Would this make MNK or NIN the better sub of choice...and what damage effect would it have? Does it cut the damage in half, or does it say similar thus making the sub better then the main...so many questions...so little answers.

NIN main melee dmg is weaksauce on a tree. /MNK and /NIN would probably hold to JT rules. Honestly I haven't seen any pankration mob do anything crazy or outside what we consider normal standards except for the side/back and while asleep extra damage. I don't see a reason to speculate they could H2H at the power of MNK main with MNK sub, or that they are considered as holding weapons. More will be clear when/if they release the plates and info for changing physical damage types and for now it doesn't really matter because I'm sure most people will scrap their current pet next update to this mini game . Hopefully they will tweak what TP moves are used on what temperament, the diablo champions that can hold a winning streak for now are mobs that can use a powerful tp move with a desirable temperament on a melee job, I'm sure they will want to balance it some before adding more different types of battles.

On Titan server, a mimic that took single digit damage from everything melee held the championship for almost 2000 wins over the last 2-3 days, but was dropped by a blm mimic that did nothing but spam firaga, blizzaga, waterga 2, stonega 2, etc.

Since it got dropped, the championship has been changing hands alot. Its gone from mimic > mimic > mandy > doll > rabbit > mandy > rabbit atm that I've seen. The current rabbit champ has endispel, and it looks like some form of evasion boost because everything has trouble hitting it. Waiting for the blm mimic to come back and see how it holds up to that.

my friend has a 50blm/whm tiger, with both black magic and white magic scrolls, i have seen it cast haste and curaga II, wich shouldnt be possible if pankration cared about levels, also it casts aeroga II as part of being a BLM. secondly i have played with the true multi-attack traits.

Had a lv 50 pet with war/thf and traits on both, never had a single multi attack. I changed him to pick up the actual Triple Attack bonus, not the +15% thing, and given luck would triple attack about every third attack at the most in a single fight. so the general rule of thumb i've seen is you get the passive traits with the exception to multi attack traits. This would be an easy statement if not for the fact that i have heard of pet with mnk+traits using kick attacks, well i have one like that and he has never kick attacked, but i have given a pet /SAM+traits, and seen Zanshin proc 50% the time when he wiffs.

As far as the stat boost from subs, i took my penguin mnk/thf and pulled /thf off him, he all of asudden hit in the single digits and the crits against him nearly doubled and he never evaded anything, put it back on and he was harder to hit, had significantly more HP, and went back to hitting in the low 100's per fist against non-turtle-style pets, low 30's against the tank pets.

So to me subs are a good way to spend FP, but dont use the traits unless there is something besides a multi attack trait you want.

I think some of them are also still glitched. My guess, either you are supposed to get sub traits at main job level, or you are not supposed to get sub spells at main job level. Regardless, Triple Attack is lvl 55 so even a THF main shouldn't have it just from traits.
My monk main with traits has never countered on any temperament.

my penguin counters consitantly and i see it alot, it is mnk/+traits. i have a friend with a /mnk+traits pet and it counters also, but since it is WAR/ it still only attacks with a single strike.
