I may resub after the new expansion hits. I heard they are adding a shitload of exploration stuff... and my character, who had about 13M SP when I finally quit last month, was heavily into covert ops and probing.

Installed and played for a bit. Im actually pretty excited about playing it. Like I said, it seems right up my alley.
I'm working on training up my Capital ship ability while not really playing much.
Haha, yeah. I'm kinda the same way right now. lolz Large Hybrid Turret 5 = 21 days. :\
Did go in an outnumbered fight and came out with 11 kills and 7 losses though. YAY MEDIOCRE!
I'll be able to fly the Dred by late march / early april at the earliest, but it wouldnt be till late May id be able to fully fit it.![]()
Third ship in five days to go pop to pirates. /sigh
EVE SiSi - Wormhole Sleeper Adventure
Fucking epic is all I've got to say, wish EVE wasn't a 'how long have you been playing lolz' game so I could actually play with my higher skillpoint friends for this new content...
If you're new and you don't know what to do, you can always join Eve Uni. Not a bad corp to be in while you figure out what the hell you want to do in the game: Ivy League Homepage
I also just got back into the game after reading about the BoB / Goonswarm drama... used to be in Sniggerdly (pirate corp) during the days of the original BoB wars, so the drama brought back some memories. Don't have my old account (/cry) so starting a new one, Caldari, and will be training for PVP usage...
Perhaps I'm lazy and don't want to scroll through fifteen pages of threads, but does BG have its own corp, or part of a larger corp? Even if not, just flying with other people makes it fun... a bunch of noobs can actually be successful properly shipped / fitted, etc. Is fun :D
Nah, no BG corp. And if you want to play PvP I suggest not going Caldari. Minmatar or Amarr are the dominant races in PvP by far.
Shrug, I've played twice now, both times getting about 10M SP, and all I've ever really flown is Caldari, its all I really know. If I were to swap now, I'd be like a total noob. I figure I can get up some skills to be self-sufficient, since I know what ships do what, where, and what I can accomplish, and can always cross-train down the line. The month or two I spend now won't be anything in a year when I can cross-train, etc
GALLENTE DRONES YUS
At least that's what seemed coolest to me and what I chose to make my character good at, hoping one day in like 3 years I could pilot a carrier with a swarm of drone minions, bwahhahaha.
Man I wanna play so badbut the idea of 15 dollars a month just to play catch up with no real hope is so unappealing.
I only have 7mil sp atm, you could come whore out missions with me. Working on my Caldari rep every so slowly.![]()
Silly people, you don't have to pay for this game with money once you get established. You can buy game time cards with in-game money. :<
And, uh.. catch up? Yeh it kinda sucks I guess, but with this new expansion coming out March 10th now would definitely be the time to start. EVE is being sold in-stores now (in a box w/ a CD like every other game, it was download onry before) and there is going to be a huge wave of new players.
So.. uh, yeah. Now would be a good time. Plus if you need help just send me a PM in-game. Eanae & I talk about random shit all the time, gonna tag along on Lv4 caldari mission once Eanae gets the standing for it. You newbies could tag along and sit really far out and just reap the rewards of ship bounties, mission ISK rewards, and the huge standing boosts. Basically powerleveling you folks.
Edit: Just to taunt you guys even moar - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4yCeGsI2OY
I played the 14-day trial for this a few years ago. I was a Gallente with a Catalyst when I stopped. I honestly had no idea what I was doing though. It was pretty fun but I got so discouraged when I saw how long each addition skill took to learn.
Good thing you didn't keep playing then, skills just get longer and longer to train. I'm doing a 19 day one right now, lolz.

Mmm, wormholes.
Can't wait to plow through wormholes. Gearing up my Dominix to be ready (corp gonna be pissed when they realize I sold my BC to buy a Domi, but fuck BC's I have all BS skills)
Edit: I also have no problem dragging new people to lvl4's. I should be able to tank them pretty well, and the newbies should serve and nice anti-frigates lol.
Yeah my friend is in a big corp and does alot of stuff and suggests I play too, probably will, going to download the client this week and maybe start back up when I get a spot of free time.
I really want to play EVE, but I just finished kicking my MMO addiction![]()
