Doing the full set of tutorials might take a full day or two and is highly recommended if just for knowing how mechanics and keyboard layouts.

Really really recommend EVE University as they teach everything from how to move around to advanced warfare tactics to Planetary Interactions 101. Plus they help pay for your skill books, give you basic ships to zoom around in, good chat channels, 1-on-1 mentoring, etc.

And ABC/I mining in nullsec is gloriously profitable. All I've done for the last year and as of May 1st I was worth ~29B isk. Downside is I'm solo in a rented system by SOLAR and its a bitch to do anything more than just have the ore hauled.

Finally, this is EVE. Feel free to do whatever the hell you want whenever the hell you want. My career has been everywhere from WH corps to Red vs Blue to being a kamikaze pvp dick merc in hi-sec to being a miner to being a corp finance adviser for a section of moon goo.

I have uber Indy skills, yet don't seem to make all that much ABC mining. What am I doing wrong...

Its all just a matter of logistics and planning. And putting in the hours of mindless Mine -> Dock -> Mine -> Dock for a week or two. Luckily I have a Rorqual to compress then I send out with my freighter over to fill orders from SOLAR and some other indies. I have it relatively safe since I'm pretty backwater deep in SOLAR and can haul without gankers hot on my ass for the most part. The majority of gankers in the area believe I just haul trit which also sells very well in null.

Before I went balls deep solo mining I was with a small group in null that currently operates nearby so I could get a good picture of how to operate. Was pretty nice having people supplying Orcas and ratters so I could run a low tank Hulk and got paid as fast as I could strip. Tempted to go back to that and save the headache of running a entire operation.

Mmm, Ya I can fly a rorq and my new alt is now up to my own indy skills for mining. Been considering doing that. Right now I buy/sell around my current region and make about 30-100m a day depending how lucky I get. But I need better income then this after the patch.

I can fly capitals, just need the income to support it.

Hey guys whats the state of affairs right now out in null. about a 20m sp pvp pilot thinking about moving on from my corp. figured I would see what else is out there for me

Who're you flying with now and can you fly a loki? If you want to not have to deal with being just a nameless number in an over-bloated coalition and have decent skills let me know and I might be able to vouch for you in Black Legion (Origin corp).

Unfortunetly cant fly a loki...let me train up on it. mostly fly gallente and caldari.

Having the skills for a Loki is a must. It's also good to be able to fly a Onieros and a Scimitar for the other ship comps we run.

I'm traveling for work right now, but apparently last night we (bl) with 401k, nulli and I think nc. coat hangered 2 csaas with titans in build and killed a whole tfi fleet. I'd say its going well

This weekend should be fun. Last night we reinforced 9 or 10 towers (mixture of moon types) and they all come out saturday afternoon. Also, I believe there are some SMA station systems coming out of final reinforce on Saturday as well. SHould make for an exciting weekend.
