new doomsday is cool and more balanced, but i kinda miss the old doomsday. they should make ships that have range/etc bonuses for smartbombs.

Well I logged in I've got 35mil, and the following ships... x5 rifter x2 jag x2 wolf x1 firewall x2 star wars ships and some other stuff. What's the BG channel called and if anyone can pm me with a decent idea of what I should be doing I'll be on tonight. As far as kills go I've got some 5's mostly things related to frigs and working my way up everything else is lvl 3or 4

It never hurts to cross train. I'd focus on one race first and get all your core skills up (cap, shields, pg, etc)

Holy crap.

I never tried EVE but had heard of it off and on in the gaming community but earlier this month, it was pretty cool seeing the BBC News's tech show 'Click', reporting on:
"Grueling 5hr battle" and
"One of the largest video game space battles ever seen has taken place in the Eve Online game."
The show mentioned a bit about the currency system and the battle participant count. They also wrote up an article on their online site about it. I had no idea the game was like that, was looking for vids so I'll check the vid that Tekki posted yesterday.
