that actually looks pretty cool. i can't see how they'd manage to link it to Tranquility except through NPC/FW combat (with even less interaction that DUST currently has), though. unless they did some major overhauling, at which point why not just build it (and, at that point, DUST) into EVE?

so i'm guessing it's standalone in which case... eh. pretty, but eh.

Christ. a 10%+ rise in PLEX prices in one month, but I still managed to self sus again this month (mostly in the space of a week because I ignored EVE for XIV for half a month). Thank goodness the residents of Black Rise don't give a shit about explorers.
I had to fucking babysit fifty SAAR sales at the end though. Not going to do that again.

But now, I've got a Procurer and twenty hours of backlog TV to get through (and then anime on to of that). And I'm moving my PI to lowsec so I can comfortably run a P3 at full production, so now I'll have twice the passive income I previously did.
I think between some more exploration skilling, I'll do some standings gains and start looking into starting up some research agents.

Sadly, I'm not on battleship status yet, and getting one still represents a serious percentage of my earning to risk putting into the hands of other players.

And I like exploration, just, not a solid week straight of it, lol.

How long would it take to feasibly start a new character and maximize the amount of PLEX acquisition? I love this genre, and I've played EVE before (about 3 months), but I've never been able to clearly justify paying the entire subscription for spending the majority of my time learning skills.

However, I had 51 days to do it, so my skills were a bit higher before trying, but most of them were non-fitting/non-exploration related.
Also, this guy was a veteran player making an alt, he had player skills an actual newbie wouldn't.

I tried the wormhole to null, it's harder to find a route than advertised. And I got popped before I could even reach null.
Then I tried just going a k-space route to null. No gate camp coming in, but I was aggressively hunted and had my exits from a system bubbled on the far side, and got popped.
As a new player, you really want a Tech 2 Cov-ops that can warp cloaked (and suffer less speed penalty while cloaked) to try doing null (or travelling through w-space)

But I did find low security space pretty safe, you can get through anyone on gate with a normal cloak, and if you pay attention to d-scan you can see probes and get out before anyone who's trying to hunt you can get you. (No help if anyone's pre-bookmarked sites, or is hiding in one cloaked, but haven't had that happen to me yet.)

In low sec, I've made ranges from 5 to 50 million an hour, and a PLEX is currently spiking at 700m (it was 600 last month). Though I was able to put up and get filled a buy order in Essence for 657m.
Where as my Procurer only makes about 6m an hour mining (I lose 2m an hour having to scan big enough asteroids, double warping to belts because it's speed is so low, etc. A mining fleet would bump it up a bit.)

Just divide the plex price by the isk per hour, and you have your time commitment.
