I would think "Barfira" would be the spell, and "Scroll of Barfira" would be the item,
but!
this is taj's domain (since it involves items and naming) so you'll have to wait for him.
Barfira (Scroll) would be the item page
Also people when you say something inflicts Paralyze you should link it to Paralyze (Status) not Paralyze! (Because that takes you to the spell >_>)
Spells/Magic should be established as follow:
Item (IE Scroll): SpellName (Scroll). This is already handled by the item DB.
Spells: SpellName (Spell).
Status inflicted by Spells: StatusName (Status).
This is all for the sake of disambugation.
Ive been working on the BLM spells, im done up to Fire spells and im just editing the page thats listed on the BLM list. So its just Fire II, Waterga, etc; for the ones that are similiar, like Fire I changed it to Fire (Spell).
Ill have Fire, Bliz and Thunder tiers done tomorrow prob, no more time today, I have Fire 1, Bliz I, and Thunder I setup. So if anyone is bored btwn now and tomorrow, just copy the code from one of them, and apply them to the rest of the tier. Dont have to change much if youre working in the same tier.
we could establish convention that SpellName is the page for spells, since we use inline disambiguation (instead of full disambiguation pages) - and simply make the link text explicit on the other pages.Originally Posted by The Blackrose
I'm not particularly invested either way. if we put a (suffix) after all of them, the primary page can just be a redirect to the most likely choice. (or a full disambiguation page)
