For someone who took the extreme measure of maliciously transferring the accounts to a different server, that seems very odd.

Revenge for what? You need to stop being retarded about this. Taj has no motive to hack people on a different server than have nothing to do with his outing of Divisortheory.

I'm not so sure about that. It doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility that Taj: 1) Was sad that a number of people, particularly those in Ultima, were badmouthing him and calling him out, and 2) Sought to teach the infidels a lesson.

That said I really do think this looks like a frame.

From my understanding, Divisortheory was forced out of Ultima after his past indiscretion was revealed, doesn't seem like the kind of actions that would make Taj want to get revenge.

If anything, it is motive for Divisor to get back at the people that basically excommunicated him, and at the same time shift the blame onto Taj.

I will be the first to say i'm not always on when kalia is on but from his own words the other day (apparently hadn't logged in for 2 weeks) he left of his own accord. He dropped his own pearl. Our leaders would post if they where involved like they always have in the past. Maybe i might be misunderstanding you completely and you mean forced to leave because of said SS posted here?

Only talk i recall on our forums about kalia was mentioned in the public forums. There was nothing in our private forums about him nor Taj. Until the events here too place.

And Def it wasn't that anyone was "badmouthing" Taj, I may not have used the right word. But there were a number of people, myself included (some in Ultima and some not) who expressed their displeasure with the whole Kalia/Taj situation, the majority of them obviously backing their friend Kal rather than Taj, though not everyone felt the same way about it.

Also to those who seem to be convinced that this was DT trying to frame Taj because he was upset about losing his LS, you misunderstand the situation surrounding that. DT had not been on much for events and things for various reasons and wasn't losing a whole lot by not being in Ultima, and there was no animosity between him and other members as a result of that situation. The only person DT had any reason to attack would have been Taj himself. He had absolutely zero motive to attack members of his own former linkshell, anyone saying otherwise is being ignorant to the facts. Quit concentrating on that line of thought and put your detective work into finding who really might have done this.

If we assume Taj didn't do this and is just victim of a very poor sackholder decision to pearl Levishet, don't you think that this whole event is a marvellous attack on Taj? In 90 days (or less if SE listens) everyone will pretty much be back on Valefor with nothing irreplaceable missing. Meanwhile, Taj has to live forever with the stigma of the guy who hacked innocent people to pursue a grudge even after he'd won the threads on BG.

No i don't see these people doing this as a favour for kalia.

Kalia was basically inactive in the LS and had his own group of people that he did salvage with.

In the time i've been in Ultima i've seen kalia at one faffy camp session & that's all i can come up with for now /shrug.

One person was hit pretty hard in relation to items but it not my place to say exactly what was taken :\ The Novio they had was actually mine and i gave it to them because i felt they deserved it more then me and hearing it gone does piss me off.

Anyways i am glad the accounts weren't trashed completely. It does give us somethign to work with when they get back and help people get back on their feet.

Now when I got hacked last week the account wasn't stolen. Roughly 15,500 currency, 35M in gil from my mule. Probably 90M in gil and gear from my friends mule on the same account. They left the account itself alone (only 4 lvl 1 mules).

If this was a personal attack, for any reason that aegis would have been dusted. If it was an rmt attack, someone would have posted the Galka Aegis pld screenshots.

Moved to taj's server, trying to get into taj's shell. Taj isn't a officer (has been stated) and if he was the one vouching for these 2 transfers, someone by now would have let that out of the bag.

The credit card info was changed before the transfers right? Now why would the hacker change the info to be charged instead of charging the person and walking away with character and no 25 charge.

And everyone has gotten their accounts back? S-E is not that good (i work with them) one would bound to be lost, something isn't right here.

As for the thread only lasting this long due to 3 name drops. I highly doubt thats why its still being discussed. Is it a fuel as to why so many pages cumulated so quickly? most likely. However a whole linkshell attacked would draw enough people that feed off of drama to fuel conversation for quite a while also.

Also as for "all of them blaming Taj" again read the thread and responses from those involved some already said they don't know who did it "taj or not" but they are angry over the situation. So dont put words in the mouths of the victims please.

The being forced out was already said to distinguish the fact that had Taj not uncovered the gil buying DT would still be a member. They are not saying the "victims" forced DT out, well atleast the people who know how to read.

Edit: Furthermore, I've offered up most or all of the gil I have remaining (I planned to sell it) to people who were victims of this and lost stuff.

the passwords to these accounts were changed were they not? maybe whoever planned and executed this didn't expect the original owners to be able to revert their passwords through SE (rightfully... lol) as evidenced by an osode being left on one of the characters...
