I absolutely hate it, and there's no excuse for it ever IMO. The thought of it just ticks me off.

And one thing, from an outside point of view with no inside information, the original evidence against him was horribly poor. There's no argument about it. If you tried to make a court case for a theft using similar evidence the jury would laugh at you. Which was why I kept saying no one had any reasonable amount of evidence pointed to them in this thread until now.

EDIT: And hey, you'd be surprised what people can make a case for now over the internet. Not long ago there was a news artical in China where a player successfully sued another player for the theft of property in an MMO. I've even researched the theft statues under larceny for a few different states/made calls to police stations/talked to lawyers about it, and with the right evidence it is possible to make a strong case. Just it's very uncommon.
