Wow @ people fearing for their accounts... just change your password... Taj may be resourceful (and not TOO terribly much; the method for obtaining the passwords wasn't even original, and I believe I mentioned it on some random single-digit page), but he isn't omniscient. The funniest part about this entire thread was when he told people to contact him who hadn't gotten their accounts back and he would PM them their info. Am I the only one that DIDN'T whoosh on this?

I'm pretty sure that hacking is more about exploiting people's mistakes/stupidity than actual computer knowledge.

1. The irony argument was stupid. The only reason people pidgeon hole the definition of irony into less than it is, is that comedians who made fun of Alanis Morisette's(sp/idc) shitty song, and some equally shitty movie about kids kidnapping their teacher like 10 years ago bled this ignornace to the masses-- both Alanis and possibly the actress in the movie (idr) were correct in their usage of the word irony to begin with.

Somewhere along the way telling a guy who is throwing money at you that you need more money became proof positive that he was spending it on big screen TVs, hookers, and booze. Either which way, I and most other people will still prefer the non-profit and overall better resource that is BG-Wiki. If Taj hadn't have exposed the lies and scams of Ganiwang and his motley crew of unemployed spongers, then BG-Wiki probably wouldn't have happened and be happening.

Dear Taj,
If you have not done so already, please send Aang a message (maybe not forum PM given recent circumstances) detailing exactly how you did this. You have alluded to backing up the database, but even then there were passwords. And several members said they had changed their POL passwords since what had been sent in personal message. Not only can Ultima then make sure their site is more secure, but it can also prevent any copycats who may try to use the same exploit to victimize others.

As far as oh were lucky to only get the 25 $ fee its far more then that its 50$ for world tranfers in long run not to mention myself going to have an 80-100$ long distance fee on my bill for the hours i spent on fucking hold with SE (SE can go fuckthemselves with the "Your call will be answered in the order in which it was received" every fucking 30 secs for hours)

So I've read over this once last night and again this morning . Lemme get this right, Taj hacked some ppl, dropped a ton of shit. Moved them servers mostly cause he COULD but using the back up plan that One of them was known for buying gil. Am I correct in all of this?

Now I don't keep up with the times like most of you. I like my mind games as much as anyone. I like to think I'm really good at it too. But there's a difference in mind fucking someone and just totally ruining everything they've worked for. I'm gonna say fucking over the 1 person who bought gil was enough, I think most people could have lived with that. It's the fucking over people there is no proof of them doing anything that crossed the line. But guilty by association I suppose.

Now I'm gonna ask straight up through all of this. You gonna try and get into Ashira's account, move her servers (not for your own pleasure of having her character next to yours either). Then drop all of the shit she's worked hard to get.
