Yep, you did read it wrong. I don't have access to the 360 account, and am NOT trying to point fingers at windower. I'm trying to come up with a list of methods by which it is theoretically possible for this to have happened.

I'm going to go ahead and bet that they gave their info to someone. Linkshell members maybe? Rule #1 of FFXI is that if you got hacked, one of your friends did it. People can't just magically hack POL accounts.

I'm willing to entertain that idea, but who gave Taja (Sarahlynn) a pearl to your LS? It's not like random people who nobody has ever heard of can log onto FFXI and send a tell to HNM leaders and say "hey can I have a pearl"?

Rykoshet told us that Taja was his mule. I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty irresponsible of us to not question why an Aegis Paladin transferred servers and asked to join LS. That being said, he was just a trial member. Ellia or Linsivi kicked Rykoshet when the thread was posted (I think it was probably Ellia, Linsivi is in the process of moving.)

Thanks for the explanation. Frankly I'm as clueless as anyone, don't think that I want it to be windower. And Ryko's comment about Xbox 360 was probably right, that person says he's never logged into that account via PC. So frankly IDFK, but I quit FFXI anyway (commence epic lulz) so I probably shouldn't even care.
