My guess is that he was busy being sure none of us had PMed our info to each other or done anything compromise-able (not sure if this is actually a word, sorry) before he basically made himself or his LS possible future targets.

At no point between garret's post (my realization) and when I posted on page 18 did I defend a thing taj did. I didn't give him up immediately but like I said, I have more people to worry about than just my shield, which is still more important than a bunch of people on some server I don't know. After that I did what I could to share the proper info with the right people (told church to block out the names in the picture since I didn't feel like dragging people I didn't know were involved into it, admitted to posting the picture on the GameFAQs topic, told garret where his character was and what it was named) without saying who it was because if I did so I may have not been able to log in.

to be fair though, he still shouldn't be thanked for doing the right thing after the fact. he exploited someone else's complacency and did some really mean stuff with it, no one needs to thank him for giving it back.

for the record, he stated that his purpose for posting was because some rhapsody member started singing like a robin and claiming that the shell knew nothing of it, he wanted to be sure rhapsody was held responsible for this shit too, seeing as how they knew about it

Speaking of internet detectives, Ryko beat me to a reply to all the people trying to go for the throat there. Even now we still don't have an explanation as to exactly what the fuck Taj thought this would accomplish, and I can't say that I would have wanted to risk my friends lively hood if i was in a similar situation.

I believe he gave the accounts back because of the reaction of not only the people involved, but also because of the reaction of everyone else who reads BG. While researching on DT, he came across the info. During the DT drama, he probably noticed how everyone reacted to it, even people from Valefor. After seeing how people viewed him, he didn't think people thought so highly of Ultima as well. So why not fuck with them? Its also my belief he didn't drop the stuff because he saw what he did and felt bad about it, not expecting this reaction from Ultima member, Valefor players or server-wide players. My take is he initialy thought he would get more lulz out of people on this forum.

I don't pretend to know Taj or how he thinks, this is all just a hunch, but certainly possible.
