Someone mentioned this in my LS as well several hours ago since he's Japanese. He got his info from a Japanese FFXI forum that also cited Famitsu.

The abbreviations are the following:
DAN - Dancer

EMU - Elemental User (Elementalist?)

TMM - Time Mage

MDC - Medicer (Chemist?)

Just take it with a grain of salt. Even the other members in my LS were kind of doubtful. I'm skeptical as well until it's proven true or false.

I looked up on FF Compendium and didn't find any jobs that could match with EMU or MDC. ~.~ Odd, indeed. Emulator sounds quite like a good shot though, heh. =)

Why would Famitsu print NA abbreviations? How could they have those but not the JP ones? I'll check the latest Famitsu, but this sounds weird. Where is the forum?
