Rumours about new job abbreviation

Why would Famitsu print NA abbreviations? How could they have those but not the JP ones? I'll check the latest Famitsu, but this sounds weird. Where is the forum?

I could ask my friend what forum when he logs on. I tried searching through Google, but I'm having piss-poor luck there trying to find it.

Hmm..seems a bit mage heavy to be actual jobs.

It is but if you consider how many melee jobs there are compared to mage it would be more balanced. They really need to whip up another tank job tho imo.

Well, Dancer is abbreviated as PUP is. And TMM is abbreviated as other mages are.

I'm not saying it's correct, but it's definitely not impossible.

Doesn't sound so far-fetched... but if I had to guess... I'd say:

TMM - Obviously Time Mage (but would make more sense as TIM)
DAN - Dancer... DNC doesn't make phonetic sense... think SAM. It's not SMR is it? No.
EMU - If it was Elementalist for sure it'd be more like ELM I would think... could be our Geomancer.
MDC - Medic, or Medicinist. Would be our Chemist/Engineer.

I wouldn't call it bluffy just yet. Famitsu has been somewhat reliable as of late.

As far as SE announcing only two jobs... that was never stated. They said "We cannot reveal exactly how many we are adding - but there will be more than one".

I believe it was in one of the first couple Japanese interviews regarding WotG. Elmer might have translated it.

They said there were 3 new jobs in the works and they were trying to fit each into one of the 3 roles in a party (supporting, damage dealing, and tanking).

I remember reading that same answer. SE won't specifically state how many jobs, just that there will be more than one.

Eh? JP version uses the NA abbreviations. Their "naito" is still listed as PLD to them when you search etc.

edit: as far as i have read SE only said there would be more then one job and never gave an exact amount
