It is confirmed. The screenshot shows another hit for 229.Originally Posted by VZX
I don't believe this range is possible. The only way you could if SE did forsake the .8 pDIF range for a much larger one.

Yea Mat, post the whole screenshot along with any of that fight.
Could be that the Diremite NM rotates weakness types (from slashing to piercing to etc.) during the fight for whatever reason?

unedited.
edit: in case yo udont feel like browsing, i think the damage was: 403, 227,229, 257
Yea this could be possible, but the reason why I think it wouldn't be is because in order to hit 403 with a slashing bonus you be able to reach the 2.9pDIF point while not criting. And this is assuming Mat has reached his max fSTR. I couldn't say how likely that is. If he didn't reach this max fSTR then pDIF cap on non-crits would be greater than 2.9!!!Originally Posted by Yutuyu
Are 2-handers out there actually getting pDIFs up to 3.0 without the crits?
In layman's terms, in order for for this to be true, 2-handers have the possibility of getting close to the same damage on non-crits compared to what they were getting on Crits before the 2handed update.
Oh wow. Thanks for posting my crappy damage.![]()
Interesting... Gyre-Carlin could have been asleep when you did that huge damage hit.
exlpanation is your g. axe is really relic and you just don't know it =/
that is actually something of note, especially now with pokemon battles being coded so that slept mobs take increased damage when being awakened. certainly not outside of the realm of possibility.Interesting... Gyre-Carlin could have been asleep when you did that huge damage hit.
Zomg sleep mobs for better epeen dmg?
the fact that this sleep thing works on normal mobs has me thinking it's a glitch
Tested in South Gusta with sleep, fire, and physical staff hits. Sleep had no damage effect.
That and I'm pretty sure that every ??? item NM in Nyzul is immune to sleep, even if its Vana'diel counterpart is not. Could be wrong but I remember early Nyzuls before we got a routine and familiar with it, trying to sleep the NMs if we had aggroed other stuff would always fail.
Maybe you double attacked and for some reason the chat log combined the hits?
Definitely false, last nyzul run i did our rdm was sleeping crushed krauhgtezerer (or whatver that ghost NM in gusgen is) over and over.Originally Posted by Suiram
