If you pick the right one, you get your loot. If you pick the wrong one you get a mimic and have to kill it to get your loot. Mimic is hard as hell, even for a party. Most people just run in solo on a job that can warp or bloodport and pick a chest and pray they get the right one. If not, 2hr, warp, bp, w/e.

The mimic is hard as hell, yes, but it is soloable by nin/thf, I did so myself when bored once. Didn't melee it, just spammed Ni spells and kept it debuff. Did use like 15 hi pots and antidotes for death trap though, and it was pretty hard at times when hojo didn't land.

Mimic really isn't that tough, a friend and I have duo'd this easily, as BRD + NIN, using same Strategy of Ni nukes, keeping Elegy on mimic, and March + Mambo on NIN. If your going to use 50 seals, might as well get a crate out of it. If you bring WHM or RDM for Haste, this BCNM is ridiculously easy. (Sorry for being off topic, I couldn't find my SS of the drops that I received, but we were trying for Minstrel's (for me), or Sorcerer's (for him), and went 0/6 if I remember correctly, I did get an Astral Ring though.)

That happened to me... I rolled 990+ .. then she came in with 997 and of course belt dropped.

Congrats! I'd say this is the most rare body to get considering how annoying it is to pop this NM. We're about 1/20something on him, we need another drop for aurik to 5/5 (he needs mask too).

How close to 5/5 is whoever got this body?

Did Fortitude > Hope > Justice > Hope > Justice > Prudence yesterday. Walked away with a bunch of torques.

Sucks that neither of the Justices dropped, but going 4/6 on torques isn't bad. The first Hope was really Plasma Charge > Thundaga 3 happy which is why you see a bunch of dead melees. The Prudence was rough because Tiamat popped while we were fighting it so a bunch of people left to go claim. Got our first gaiters in 9 kills, too. No SS of that tho cuz I didn't make it into MA. =(
