That's fine, nobody would be suspicious about that. But if, somehow, your name got implicated in a scandal, and you genuinely were innocent, you'd do best to allow people to see for themselves that you're not doing anything shady.

It's well within your right to not care what people think, and keep it at 0, but it's also well within everyone else's right to slander your name and put you down in history as the person who did these things, whether or not you actually did them.

I just honestly feel bad for these people, I lost my first ACCT by giving PW out, took a break came back and I was fucked, it was a shame yeah but I got over it and I learned my lesson, never since has someone had my info.

But people like Rydiu, or w/e his name is who recieved shit from taj that was not taj's to give keeping the items for myself is just really really scummy, and in my opinion, worthy of being given the kalia treatment. They recieved items worth large amounts of gil, worked for by others, through ilicit means. Is it the same as buying gil? No, but I think there should be as much anger directed at the people who are able to help the victims recover their items and outrightly refuse as is directed at Taj.

Being an accomplice and then posting on BG about "blah blah dont give your password out" is fucking beyond stupid, and worthy of ridicule.

Obviously, noone's gonna point a finger toward everyone who has their transaction history hidden. however, if as mentioned before you were involved in some shady shit, having a hidden transactions just really doesn't add to your credibility.

Probably based on her defense of Taj, although since she had nothing to do with anything, she probably shouldn't be blamed for anything more than attempting to soften people's feelings toward Taj.

I suppose it is a little blind, and I certainly see my own fault here, but the truth is more along the line of I judged this person to be a good person, and I want to believe it. There's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing that says I have to write someone off because he's suddenly not as popular anymore.

I realize some have chosen and feel it's better for their own image to disassociate from him; instead I'd rather understand their position but choose not to follow.

It's good to see that the continued mention of my name comes out of a place of concern in everyone's minds, that you are worried something could happen to compromise me in my blind and misguided trust. I would never think that I am somehow another target you are trying to vilify for no apparent reason, except to have someone to lobby SOME sort of accusations at that will answer back.

Yes, I know; I meant it more in that sort of... his reputation just went out the window and it's easy to just drop him like a hot pan. It's not the popular idea to think of maybe trying to encourage him in some manner, towards the "good," as it were; instead it's better to do a lot of railing and shouting and just assume he's beyond a point worth giving a damn.

I was saying he was trouble when he WAS popular. Popularity has nothing to do with it. He did something horrible to nine people and you shrug it off and defend him every chance you get. You are essentially tryin to justify his actions or at least lessen the backlash he experiences as a result of this. Why? I never got this, defender the victimer thing while there are still VICTIMS out there, go hug one of them. I don't see why you need to defend the person who did it to them.

It's not image. It's a matter of wanting to see justice. He deserves some sort of punishment for his behavior, I was sickened even when he was the hero of BG. I'd like to see him actually get some of what he deserves.

I keep saying bad things about you because you keep cropping up in every thread which has bad things to say about him and trying to argue against the accusations or at least explain them. Why do you care so much about how others perceive him? What exactly is your motive?

You don't need to defend your friend seeing as he clearly does not care what people think of him or he wouldn't have acted as he is. So what're you doing? Defending your image of him? Are you that obsessed with your preconceived notions of his character that you are doing everything possible in your power to preserve them?

edit: Ultimately I don't really care what you think. If you wanna think good of your friend, more power to you. But why do you feel the need to communicate your clearly illogical view of things on a thread started by one of the people who got screwed.
