I keep saying bad things about you because you keep cropping up in every thread which has bad things to say about him and trying to argue against the accusations or at least explain them. Why do you care so much about how others perceive him? What exactly is your motive?

You don't need to defend your friend seeing as he clearly does not care what people think of him or he wouldn't have acted as he is. So what're you doing? Defending your image of him? Are you that obsessed with your preconceived notions of his character that you are doing everything possible in your power to preserve them?

Because it would make me a hypocrite and just another damn bandwagonner to be all 'woot Taj rocks' and then just immediately jump to 'wtf go to hell and never speak to me again.' I've seen that happen, I've had that happen over stupid choices, and that bullshit sucks, no matter what. People are too damn fickle, and I'm just as guilty of it as anyone. And so maybe, for once, I'm trying to fight that urge.

And I know there are still people out there who are encouraging him to do more stupid shit, and why am I not allowed to try and be a fucking conscience? Is it so bad to want to try and help someone make a better choice than continuing into some downward spiral where they will just get themselves beyond a point of help?

Devoted friends are good, I'm not saying everyone should be like, "omg taj u suck i'm not your friend anymore."
