CFH on NMs

The rant:
Camped Bonnacon for 4 hours, only person there the whole time, pops, BLM(75) and THF(71) duo arrive at camp and snatch while I'm mid-cast of Kurayami, BLM dies, THF is about to die, CFHs, some retarded NIN that showed up in the meantime helps them, I'm foaming at the mouth, left a sarcastic comment (my only comment the whole time), went home.

The question:

Is deliberately claiming and CFHing an NM because you can't kill it a GM-able offense?

My LS said I should call a GM but as far as I know being a monumental douche isn't against the TOS. I haven't called a GM and probably won't, as even if it was against the TOS I have zero faith in any GM to actually do anything.

Really just asking out of curiosity at this point.

HNMLS's on Lakshmi have been jailed for the "If I can't have it, nobody can" variety of CFH'ing. I know of specifically one case where someone did it on Fafnir, only to have a GM appear and them to disappear for the next 3 days.

I believe GM are biased toward what specific mob was CFH'ed on, i'd imagine with more people and a kings or wyrm GM might be pressured to taking action, however imagine if it was leaping lizzy between you and another individual, you think GM will give a shit? probably not.

There is nothing in the terms of service that says calling for help on NMs is against the rules. So I don't see why anyone should get punished unless they state in chat lawl gonna cfh to piss people off.

If done right then if people get punished its probably something that could be argued and won with like lawyers and legal shit. Also speaking of legal shit anyone ever sue SE for illegally scanning our processes? (Do they still do that?)

I'm glad I didn't call a GM in the end, the fact that they CFHd a mob they didn't earn just so I (who after 4 hours of killing PHs earned it fucking good, even if it never drops) couldn't get it just made me more pissed than I should have been.

I made off with 2 stacks of buffalo meat (~100k) and 5 BS and KS seals, so it wasn't such a bad day.

Random thought: make more NMs like the new Despot, you kill PH you get NM, would keep people from standing around while other people kill PHs just so they can steal NM when it pops and the other guys is busy killing another PH.

I'd think that cock blocking would be a GM offense, though it is a gray area since it changes by the day, by the GM. I doubt anyone would sue SE over a virtual character, and SE denied earlier of scanning our processes.

I think you wouldn't appreciate if all the PHs (where u made enough money from to buy cure clogs >_>) would be claimed upon spawn either. Unfortunatly part of the game claiming, doesnt matter who camps longer or kills more PHs. But yeah, CFH because of the "if we cant have it, no-one can" mentality is seriously lame and shouldnt be allowed.

Shakiraa is a lv1 Mule from RareLS (Originally Valefor, migrated here to Pandy recently).

Rare is a UAE botting gilbuying LS for those that are not familiar with.

Anyway, they used the Lv1 mule > Perfect Dodge > Claim it to stall as their ppl just zoned into Mt.Z. However, Perfect Dodge was about to wear before their tank arrives, so they CFH and trained Cerb towards my team.

Is that a bannable offence?

We actually have Lvl 1 THF mules at tiamat for PD. It's actually helped us claim before. I don't think this in itself is a bannable offense since you only get like half a minute/minute? before the mule dies.

Attempting to MPK, however, is a punishable offense.

Sorry, but lulz. I don't recall them ever doing anything like that on valefor...all they ever did was pos.exe kite it around a bit. That's pretty much MPK though, definitely a bannable offense in my eyes.

Indeed, I always thought the same. It shouldn't be hard because aren't there some mobs, like those in Limbus (can't remember now), that can't be CFH'd?

Sure, it's interesting and funny drama sometimes but it gets old after a while.
