jp time don't fucking matter on carbuncle because they are at every camp no matter what time of day or night it is, 7days a week, 365 days a year. A Fire tornado of doom could be pwning japan and there would still be jp's spamming in the aery to claim faf.

At least we aren't seeing the denial of service spam and the associated maintenance again, that was around 1-2 a week for 2months in the end.

The maintenance ends at 5am JP time like someone else said. That means the king windows end at 8am JP time. That's anything but optimal.

"The JPs who don't sleep can make these windows!" <- Yes, but those JPs don't have jobs. Guess what, NAs who don't have jobs can make the exact same windows.

"It'll be in JP time soon enough" <- Average pop is technically 90 minutes in right? Let's say an average kill is 10 minutes, give or take depending on the king (15 seconds for Adamantoise, but no one cares about him). So 100 minutes. We've moving the time back 80 minutes each day, and considering that a sensible JP time is about 9pm-ish to 12am-ish, it'll take about 8 days for the window to start appearing in "JP time". A lot of JP players go to bed by their midnight, or just after it, just like a lot of NA players go to bed between midnight to 2am-ish.

Meanwhile, EST players get the good end of the deal, with the servers coming back up at 4, and windows ending at 7. A typical person will be home or heading home by 4, and online well before 7 if they log on right away. The window doesn't stay in that time frame long, but if you want good king times, move to fucking Europe lol.

It's getting pretty retarded to debate this every maintenance. If it's in NA prime we get "zomg, we have to cancel event, why can't they do it during JP prime", when it's during JP prime, we get "zomg Kings have been reset, we can't claim shit".

I see it's not just lag on my end, then.

Airship lands, goes through bridge....and a minute or two later the bridge goes up well after the airship sailed through it. Nothing like being buzzed by a ghost ship as you cross the Port Bastok drawbridge...scared the crap out of me to have the thing fly by two inches from my "face" as it flew through.
