People have been saying FFXI is "going to die soon" since 2005, guess what, it's still here, guess what, I still enjoy myself.

Game isn't going anywhere until SE decides 100% to stop releasing new content.

I don't know about you, but I think after 4 freakin years, pretty much everyone SHOULD have RoZ gear... and there be stuff out there that's hands down better, but comes from more advanced HNMs, like what cerberus (no a backpeice with 1 more strength and some fire resist does not count) and hydra should have been.

Standing around trying to get claim in the midst of 150+ people is not challenging game play. It's whomever can bot/claim faster and who has the most patience. I said make more opportunities, not make it easier. And don't lump me in with the difficulty whiners, I completed all that shit long before it was made easy kthnx. I like a challenge, but I like a challenge where I don't have to stand around for 3 hours in the same spot day in, day out, with hundreds of other people. That's not challenging game play, and if you think it is you're fucking dumb as hell.

anyway, has anyone else been getting a delay when trying to get signet from any NPC? for me at least it pauses just before i would receive signet from the npc. usually pauses for like 5-6s before giving it to me and finishing the chat.
