Fix the fucking bridge in Bastok.

I see it's not just lag on my end, then.

Airship lands, goes through bridge....and a minute or two later the bridge goes up well after the airship sailed through it. Nothing like being buzzed by a ghost ship as you cross the Port Bastok drawbridge...scared the crap out of me to have the thing fly by two inches from my "face" as it flew through.

All the airships are fucked up then. I've used Sandy and Windy airships to and from Jeuno and the ships are always like 10 seconds off on their positions. O_o

So is the Mhaura<->Selbina ferry. Was on a fishing tour maybe 2-3 weeks ago. When reaching either of the towns, you were dropped out of the ferry zone and then could see the ferry docking.

Curious if anyone else lags up for a couple of seconds when trying to get signet. It never happens to me with sanction or anything else and it just started recently around the time I noticed airships being off.

I haven't had any signet lag problems then again maybe it was fixed in this maint. Assuming the airships and boats are still bugged though? haha

jp time don't fucking matter on carbuncle because they are at every camp no matter what time of day or night it is, 7days a week, 365 days a year. A Fire tornado of doom could be pwning japan and there would still be jp's spamming in the aery to claim faf.

I don't know how it is on other servers but those jpfucks that play on carbuncle don't fucking sleep its like they are robots, sometimes i'll pick one of those fuckers out at random and just start spamming go to sleep on /t's.

Don't worry LE, we punked nHIV a few Khim camps ago. They had their usual 18 person alliance out there all day waiting for it -- a few of us were messin around before dynamis skilling up on imps near him here and there while keeping a casual eye on Khim then Khim spawns, and I claimed it. oh did I ever get my share of angry noodles in my tell box. Too bad we're still 0 for 5 on any weaps to drop lol.

It is kind of annoying that SE's disclaimer tells you to not sacrifice your real life for the game yet bases most of the best rewards from the game on sacrificing your real life. For all you people who say Salvage gear = RoZ gear, we'll you're only partially correct. Some of the items are nice alternatives, but still fall short in most places in comparison to older gear. It's a nice start, the Salvage/Nyzule Isle gear is.

I really don't see how it would be so hard to make Kings like Baham V2, since it takes a degree of luck to get an orb from an ENM to begin with, but then again catering to the casual FFXI players wouldn't make much sense. I mean why encourage new people/casual gamers to play a game that still has the top linkshells camping the same fucking mobs for 3+ years. I know if I was just starting now and was looking ahead towards the end-game scene I'd probably not even bother playing after my month free trial, if end-game content was my goal.

I mean it's so bad we have to have linkshell scouts/mules at mobs that pop every 2-8 RL days? That was cool when the mobs were new and people didn't have the experience they have now, so the mobs would usually be up and waiting -- but get with the times. Almost everyone has at least 2 lvl75 jobs, and can play them well enough to get by on most things. We've all learned how to adapt and do required on-the-spot adjustments for almost any situation. I know i get very tired of doing the same thing day in and day out in real life, so actually paying a company to sit there and do the same thing in and out gets more irritating even quicker. I've often thought of quitting, stopping the HNM camps, etc, but what keeps me going to the camps is in hopes of getting some of the linkshell some nice gear. Aside from AV (oh noes you found a way to kill it and since we don't want it killed that way, you're a cheater!), there is no mob in this game that can't be killed with minimal effort these days, so the excuse of skill and the thrill of the claim is pretty lame. FFXI won't die anytime soon or in the forseeable future, so at least give us [more casual players] the same opportunities as those whom really have nothing else better to do.

Keep the maint's up SE, and make them end at 2-3PM EST. I love it. That means I don't have to rush home from work, log in, and rush once again to run my happy ass to some shitty lagged-out camp, and so I can actually do something around the house when i get home from work.

And I just had a Bastok -> Port Jeuno airship zone me onto the dock...and then the airship came up to the docks 10 seconds or so afterwards. Seems they're getting out of sync for some reason.

I thought the airships/boats being off-sync was mostly a Xbox problem with xbox live not syncing up right with POL or something. I haven't noticed this stuff on PC, then again I can't remember the last time i've used an airship or the boats.

PC also. I've seen it happen when I was dropped off at Bastok.

They won't fix the out-of-sync airships for another three weeks. They're too busy trying to figure out how one of their own NPCs mayks gilz yo.
