IN all fairness Im thinking Maybe that NM spawns instead of a Chigue in Caedarva Mire area on the Treasure Hunt Quest..I could be wrong but who knows..Again Good luck guys!!!

If this is true I am gonna freak I started a thread about this in July 2006 and it went nowhere I have been trying to figure out this damn mystery for over a year now. If it is that simple I think I may just have to off myself

I have that quest activated and only found Treasure once..So Im really thinking that Raven Spawns instead of Berried Chigue in that Place...BUt Like I said I could be wrong..All I know is I hit my Axe on Logging Point and that Evil Bird Spawned...He hits Hard..Well For a Mage he does...Im still thinking if it wasnt for all the Lamias, Drauguars, and Guardian Bhoots a BST could take it...But its all Speculation on the BST thing...I am Sorry on my Part if I came on Harsh...But I had no reason to lie...People on Garuda know me too well for that..But Anywho's..I do Hope this helps everyone...Take care friends

If there is some truth to what he's saying, it sounds like he spawned it after trading a Pamama to Totoroon for his quest. The quest involves heading into a zone and farming in order to spawn an NM for the quest item. After that you get a reward item or a ??? Box. So maybe the cape is a reward from logging in the mire, which can spawn Ravin Raven, defeating it, and returning to the npc. Or if SE truly hates mankind maybe it's a possible appraisal from the ???Box reward. Definitely seems at least plausible since this quest has probably been done a handful of times upon release, and hardly ever again after it's update.

Edit: I've logged on Dvucca out of boredom before for at least a stack of hatchets and hadn't run across the NM if it's worth mentioning. I've completed that quest's Wajaom Woodlands portion but didn't have the Mire portion active though.

This sounds really plausible. It would also explain why Ravin Raven appears where it does in the .dats, as this would make him a quest NM.

If I weren't busy grinding pup to 57 right now I'd check it myself since I have the quest flagged. EDIT: Though I might have it flagged for the wrong area anyway if that's how it works. As it is, that'll have to wait a few hours.

Triggered by a quest? Seems way too bizzare, considering I'm sure a lot of people do that quest, and a few people should have at least poped it and realized that there's absolutely 0 info on it out there.

I'd love to be wrong though.

Do these NM's even drop items? if not the quest for the cape continues at least.

when this quest was originally put out, it was either wajaom or bhaflau.
i searched around on KI and appearently for the 1st time he can say wajaom.
