Am I missing something?

My evasion is capped, but equiping evasion +/- gear doesnt change the number in blue.
My guard is capped, but equipping guard +(there is no minus) gear makes the number go up.

Is this just a bug?

In all seriousness, "Avoidance" would have been great.

EDIT: Anyone who has the JP version of the game... does evasion skill and evasion modifiers have the same name, or is it just the NA translators who are lazy?
