Why did you even bother with the commas, and the period, if you planned on ignoring capitalization?

    The saints fucking suck.

Its just tough to watch such poor execution from a team that could do anything they wanted on offense last year to nothing this year.

Cowboys showed just how bad they are. Romo is a fucking joke, just like last year. Everyone jumped on the Tony homo bandwagon, just like last year, when he has shown nothing. Such an over-rated player. I love how ESPN headline was "Romo leads Cowboys to thriller" even with his pop warner performance. The bills are by far the worst team in the NFL, both offense and defense are running 2nd to 3rd string players with no real all-stars. I don't care what you do to almost lose to this team, if you do, you are horrible. There is no excuse.

Patriots will spank the boys next week by at least 14. I'm gonna call 21.

I'm not a Pats fan (Though I have Brady on my FFL team) and I'm not a Cowboys fan.. but would it be wrong if I "lulzed" when/if the Cowboys beat the Patriots by like.. 20 or something? I'm not saying it'll happen, but after all the cocksucking people have done over the Patriots and how unbelievably awesome they are, I think it'd be hilarious. D:

    Re: NFL Week 5 Picks

colts lost to the texans last year and they were one of the worst teams in the league, didnt the colts go on to win the super bowl? every team has a bad game, get the fuck over it. at least they found a way to come back and win. as for the bills being the worst team in the league, they still have a better record than the dolphins, rams, and saints, not to mention a victory over the j-e-t-s jets jets jets! as for tony romo, yes he is a product of the media hype machine, the guy has 11 career victories and people call him the next favre, w/e. i dont think hes a top 5 qb but he has shown some flashes of brilliance, there is no disputing that.

this week was a trap game and the cowboys got caught in it. all week they looked ahead to the pats and just expected to walk all over the bills. they arrived, got hit in the mouth, and almost lost to a young injury riddled team playing in THEIR superbowl. first monday night game for the bills since 2000, first home monday night game in 13 years, not to mention they had thurman thomas on the sideline along with numerous other bills legends. enough emotion can drive a terrible team to be great, the saints road it all the way to the nfc championship last year.

one of the reasons that puts the patriots ahead of all other contenders is that they are way too well disciplined and coached to ever get caught in a trap game. they win 38-14 and go into the locker room acting like they lost, they hit practice and film session like every game is the super bowl. thats a quality that the cowboys wont have this year and if they are actual contenders, might not even learn till next year. oh well, im going to enjoy being undefeated for the rest of the week, 5-0 is a nice feeling and we are with select company. i can deal with 5-1 and heading for minnesota come next sunday night.

    Re: NFL Week 5 Picks

I hate watching Buffalo lose after such a hardfought battle, but that Nick Folk FG and Buffalo not scoring once more won me two fantasy leagues. As I care neither for the Bills or Cowboys (less so for the latter), I'm going to have to say a job well done. Only two teams take precedence over fantasy football: the Eagles and the Vikings.

And someone, please, get the Saints an OL who can block, or a WR who can open things up. I refuse to believe this is purely on Drew Brees' shoulders. I don't want to, but I've given hope on Brees and the Saints. While I liked how Brees would have had 2 touchdowns if the Aaron Stecker TD wasn't called offsides (stupid call btw), or the Henderson TD would have stood as a touchdown, it seems like Brees just decides to throw interceptions at the worst times. If they couldn't do it in week 3 in their first home game, they had a chance after the bye. Alright, they got their ass handed to them by the Titans. So now they play Carolina, quite possibly one of the worst (at least statistically) defensive backfields that made Joey Harrington look like Tony Romo looking like Brett Favre. And you tell me Brees comes out of there without any points in the paint? If the Saints would have won, their season would have possibly been saved, for a very unlikely, but possible wildcard spot. It's funny how everyone pre-season last year wrote off the Saints as a 4-12 team, and they turned out 12-4. Now everyone (I did, and I = everyone) had them as a potential Super Bowl contestant with another 12-4 season given their butter soft schedule, and they're so far 0-4. Just gotta win out from here, I guess.

Brees, you're benched for the immediate future. And I'm no longer Brees & Co. I am now Parker & James L.L.C. You should be ashamed of yourself. You lost the starting job to freaking David Garrard.

I'll try you said New England Patriots, Indianoplis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers

San Diego Chargers, as erratic as they have been, they are regrouping together
Denver Broncos, as I favor them and are my team that I root for, if they just adjust there gameplan and stop thinking they are in the late '90's of 3 quarter football, they can own
Baltimorer Ravens, Defense, and even if TO think of trying to catch a ball down in the middle of the field he will get Raped, Butt Hurt Raped
Jacksonville Jaguars , they are always a Dark Horse, can upset anyone
Cincinnati Bengals , very potent offense, if they can just get there shit right, they can be a contender

I know most of you will use the W-L to knock out the teams, and hell I agree some of these teams, overall, are underperforming, but I have found 8 teams viable that can knock off the Cowboys

So far the Cowboys have beaten

    Week Team

    1 NY GIANTS
    2 Miami Dolphins
    3 Chicago Bears
    4 St. Louis Rams
    5 Buffalo Bills

The still have to play Patriots, Vikings, 2 with the Eagles, 2 with Redskins, Giants, Jets, Lions, Packers, and Panthers

You know Eagles will put up a fight both games, so will the Redskins, same goes for the Giants who want revenge, will lose to patriots, maybe Packers too, and maybe Vikings too, will win against the Jets/Lions/Panthers
    so there 5-0

by then of the year, they can be 11-5 or 10-6 @ best

The Patriots have no easy road either: no undefeated season for them either, Colts/Ravens/Steelers/Eagles can play spoiler

    Cowboys
    Dolphins
    Redskins
    Colts
    Bye
    Bills
    Eagles
    Ravens
    Steelers
    Jets
    Dolphins
    Giants

That loss was brutal, brutal, brutal.

Right before the final field goal the bills radio announcers said "This can't happen again... right?"

Are we sure ralph wilson stadium isn't built on some indian burial ground or something?

I'll add one and say the Titans. Jeff Fisher absolutely owns the NFC. We beat the Jags, who is on your list, and we only lost to the colts by 2 (would have won if not for a Brandon Jones drop, and would be 4-0 orz).

There are just as many teams than CAN knock off the pats. The odds may be against them, but hey, it's the NFL. Just because a team has a chance of beating another team, that does not mean they are better. Hell, last year Indi got beat by houston, NE lost to a shitty miami team when they had their 04 run.
As far as what you said, the denver broncos are a fucking joke, even bringing them up makes me laugh. Shanahan is overrated and couldn't draft/trade well if his life depended on it (sup travis henry and Maurice Claret). Ravens D isn't the same, it just isn't. Their offense is also stale. Jax and Bengals could beat them, but they wouldn't be favored. Just because a team has a chance of beating another team, that does not mean they are better. Hell, last year Indi got beat by a houston team, NE lost to a shitty miami team when they had their 04 run. Lot's of things happen when you put lightning in a bottle as I've said. You cannot expect to play 16 games of football to your fullest potential. You're going to have off days.

This years Dallas will be just like the 05' Seahawks. Really good record thanks to a really good schedule.

As much as I hate Tony Romo though, he's been playing really really well before week 5. Easily top 3 QB in the league going into Sunday night. He just had one of those days... same with TO.

    Re: NFL Week 5 Picks

    Broncos
    Ravens
    Bengals

Wtf are those teams doing in there? Denver is pretty sad. Their defense is horrible and Cutler isnt good enough to sustain a good offense through out an entire game. Ravens? call me when their offense can stay on the field long enough for their defense to catch their breath. I dont care how good your defense is, they cant stop a team all game when the offense keeps going 3 and out. Are you kidding me with the bengals? They got so many linebackers on the DL that they are going to have to play Nickel and Dime defense primarily for the next few weeks. You cant stop the run with a nickel defense and if you cant stop it then you are probably going to lose. The Jaguars and the chargers could give the cowboys a run for their money but i still think the cowboys would have the upper hand for the most part, I'm not convinced with gerard just yet and Norv Turner sucks ass. It would be a toss up though.

How are you not convinced by Garrard? He is the only starting QB to have 0 INT. Broncos and Bengals have 50/50 shot with Dallas anyday. After seeing what the AFC's worst defense did to Dallas, I'd go on to say 60-70%.

The Jaguars are not better than the Cowboys and their (still) #1 rated offense. Shutup lol.

Gerrard only throws about 25~ times a game, only 4 td passes and barely avrgs between 6/7 yrds per completion. If all you do is rely on defense and play it safe on offense with a short high percentage passing game with a healthy dose of rushing, then.. ya, you probably wont make many mistakes and it'll hurt them later when they play better teams like the colts(x2), Buccs and Steelers. As far as the broncos/bengals... how? Neither team has defense and the broncos offense isnt anything to write home about either lol. Last but not least, one game does not define a team, get over it .

I really don't think people realize how bad denver is...I do believe cinci has a 50/50 shot (ok, maybe less) to beat dallas. Depends on how they show up. I look at them like I look at San Diego. They're talent far far exceeds their record, and are capable of beating anyone.
