If he works like Quu Domi, the there is NO PH KILLING NEEDED.

I got my Sarutobi Kyahan by chance after one of the recent maintanences.
There were 3 people in Castle Oztroja after server up, the other 2 were at Mee Deggi the whole time, so no one was killing Yags, but he still popped.

Now, that doesn't mean that Mee Deggi is the same way, but I would bet my money on it being that way.

Deggi and Quu have placeholders. At least in my experience, if you leave the PH alive, the NM will not pop. I've left all yags alive for 8 hours before without having the NM pop. Killed the PH, and deggi spawned 11 min later.

However, other posts are right in that the NM's don't pop at the exact time their PH is supposed to. Example can be > kill PH, Deggi pops 10 minutes later, then PH respawns 2 minutes later.

I've definitely seen 6 hours with nobody camping one morning. I got 3 claims in a row with 0 competition, no drop during that time. Then, the 4th pop was about 1 hour after that and got drop. Though, I really can't speak to the PH thing, as I've just always killed the PH myself. (really only Mee Deggi, as I've never really bothered with Quu except to help a friend get the boots, and was only there for 2 pops)

so, when i usually camped on thf, i would just run around and kill everything since i'd get bored standing there and doing nothing. is that counter-productive to kill the PH every time it pops?

i wana bring something up real quick about this nm. first of all, anyone remember when the drop was not ra/ex and they banned the bots in the castle? people got atleast 1 drop everyday, and even when the bots came back they would have a new one everyday i went. so my question is, is that still happening where people are getting atleast 1 a day? and i also remember before it was ra/ex i went 3/10 or so on drop (back then i didnt need them) and now that theyre ra/ex i need them and i cant get a drop after like 40 kills. ive been camping him for 4 days now and in those 4 days im 0/10 and i wana know if people are actually getting the drops lately

That's how I got the majority of my claims and my eventual drop >_> early morning 4-12 hours w/ no competition

I used to wonder about numbers like that man...

But then again a long time ago I went 1/1xx (lost count) on Leaping Lizzy. I was determined to get those damn boots to drop... then about a month or so later, they added bounding boots, so I was back to camping.
Luckily I went 1/4 on Bounding.

However, I was 1/5 on Kote (then went straight to Davoi and went 1/1 on Juji Gi with no competition and he popped after I killed the 1st set of Orcs. That was a sweet feeling there.) and 1/2 on Kyahan.
