[Ifrit] Sanriku - Looking for LS

My work schedule is odd enough to where NA ls's don't hold events, and still a little early for EU ls's... which leaves JP time, but they usually don't accept NA players on just an App (usually invite only). I need a new End Game ls that does events during the times I can attend, but can't seem to get answers from people on the server. So I have come to the most popular FFXI forum on the internet (to my knowledge) for some advice.

I prefer Sky, Limbus and Sea farming. I'm open to Dyna and Salvage. Slightly opposed to HNM because of my limited playtime. I would hate to show up, spend 4 hours sitting there and then leave right as it was claimed. But I am more that willing to participate in HNM if you think it would work out.

Playtimes: 3 am EST - 9 am EST, Tuesday - Saturday with Sunday and Monday off (so all day)
or: 12pm EST - 4pm EST, Tuesday - Saturday with Sunday and Monday off (so all day).
My playtimes can vary depending on whether or not I wanna wake up early or go to bed late. I can adjust based on ls event times.

If anyone knows a Ls that could take me, or is looking for members, and has events during my playtimes, please let me know... I don't care if I have to change servers at this point. I am currently with an LS on ifrit with similar event times, but it seems to be dying out (long story).

LegendsOfRamuh LS on Ramuh holds most events starting at 12am eastern US time. Most members are just nightowls and/or have jobs that keep them busy during normal US time of play. I happen to be one of a few members who are based outside the US and joined because of their event timeframe (I moved to Korea a few months ago, but I am an American). We do Sky and Sea events, but no Dynamis. Check out the Guildportal page and see if we'd make a good match for you ^^

Thanks MaachaQ, I checked out your ls site and noticed that the times still don't work too well... I would be getting on about 3 hours past the event start times, so it would prolly get a little tiring for you all after some time. I do appreciate the offer and if my times change up at all, I'll look into it further ^^

You might try Ingram's LS on Ifrit (LeCielBlue or w/e). I have some opinions regarding Ingram, which while not all good... The LS is decent enough as far as its members and the events are pretty much around the time/window you mentioned you're available. The member base is a mix of Japanese and NAs. Might try giving it a run before switching server.

I believe they do Sky/Limbus/ENMs and also some HNM that tend to sit around sometimes. Last I was there, they had stopped doing sea for a bit, but may have resumed.

I currently run with Ingram's LS, and yes Keston, most people have mixed opinions, but Sanriku, try it for yourself and see what you think.
It's a good LS, they get things done, however occasionally you will find communication issues which get resolved fairly quickly. Ingram is bilingual and as are most of the japanese players, however its only natural for them to lapse into japanese most of the time. I haven't found it too much of a problem though. It's handy to have ice access for dynamis as most of the runs are in that region, with say 1 in every 3-4 runs being a city zone.

I have been with his LS for about hmm... a year or year and a half? I have enjoyed my time there so far, my only real issue is that the events are just that bit too late for me, as central Australia is an hour and half later than Japan. And, I am running out of things to lot (lol jk). I have 5/5 WHM 4/5 BLM 3/5 WAR AF2 (plus misc) to show for it, as well as 4/5 Marduk set (salvage gear) and Zenith hands crown pants, genbu shield, kirins pole from sky. Basically its the same as most Linkshells, stick with it and you will be rewarded. If you are only a casual gamer you may find yourself waiting a little longer than you would like for your gear as lotting is based on your attendance.

Events are:
Dynamis: 9pm Tuesday, 1pm Saturday JST
Salvage: 11pm Wednesday and Thursday, 10pm Friday (x2 runs) JST
Limbus : taking a break
Sky: Saturday 12am JST

I recommend checking http://timeanddate.com/ to work out the time difference if you aren't sure already.

All events are about 50/50 EN and JP with Salvage being more JP players than EN.

We are actually a new "restart" of the KoR shell. We were a different shell until we found out and proved our leader bought his account, was fixing points and stealing from the ls. We quit and regrouped with a leadership team of 7 under a member's old shell- KoR.

Our goal as a shell is to have fun while we get our members the things they want/need. We try very hard to have a fair lotting system- ya get out what you put in. We are an adult shell and most of us have families, so we are much more lienent on attendance then other shells on this server.

Our current schedule is:
Monday: Sky or LS event 8 pm est
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: Limbus 8pm est
Thursday: off
Friday: Sky 7 pm est
Saturday: off
Sunday: Dynamis 12 noon est (we had a second limbus at 7pm, but cancelled due to lack of interest)


As of the third week of April our schedule will change to:
Monday: Sky or LS event 8pm est
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: Dynamis 8pm est
Thursday: Limbus 7pm est
Friday: Sky 7 pm / off Alternating weeks

While I might have had my disagreements with KoR in the past, I can say they are a really good LS. The shell holder's really fair and helpful. I left several really good friends there, and all of them were top notch players and super helpful.

Chopchop LS, we are dire need of WHM's, LS event are Saturday 5 pm EST, or 11 PM GMT usually last 2-4 hrs and Sundays 1 PM EST or 7 PM GMT, depending on our day usually last 3-4hrs. Limbus varies and i seperate but intacked with the shell. Sea will soon be reopened..

You are probably best off trying to find a Aussie shell. You could try tracking down Alashandra. She used to be on Ifrit, but recently server hopped, she might have an idea where you could look.
