Re: Bismark endgame LS - looking for members

as a retired member whose last dynamis with them was the 18 man kill, i'm just going to say that I'm going to feel real sorry for AV if the trick gets revealed and they get a solid strat to take him down. My only regret was not finishing my drk for some ridill pwnage. As it is, joining the shell just to listen to the random 80's cartoon theme songs (or benny hill if it's a bad dynamis pull) is probably worth the price of admission alone

I didn't say that. I just know that it was created by old IRON members etc. And of course their skilled and teach others to be also from what I see.

What's funny is Iron did things the hard way in some cases. We blow Iron out of the water for things like limbus, salvage, prudence, most indoor jailers. After a while there was a, "if it's not broke, don't fix it" attitude with Iron. I prefer going back over things as many times, and from as many directions as possible, to find the most efficient route. Iron was an awesome LS tho.

Iron was, just not in it's prime. The salvage runs we ran were awful.

Getting there, we have some really solid applicants.

NiN was around before salvage was gimped. And our runs in harder areas were better then the best Iron run in bha rem.

No offense, but that really wasn't the real IRON anymore, it had died long before.

Anyone that sent me PM's on this forum, make sure you've made an account on the NiN site, as I will reply to you there. Sorry I've been so slow to reply this week, I've been busy with the front page update for the site. Now that it's finished I'll be getting back to reviewing applications. Again, sorry for the delay.

Re: Bismark endgame LS - looking for members

That time of the season again. Nine Inch Ninjas is a Bismarck Endgame shell. We have opened our doors once again to fill out the roster. We lost a bunch of people to IRL over the last 2-3 months, and we are looking to fill some very big shoes. We do a little of everything, but most of our focus is on scheduled events. I'll go over the LS a little bit and then cover the requirements and what we are looking for.

We are a low man shell, right now the recruitment cap is 24 members. We've killed just about everything in the game with 6-18 people. We usually host 2-3 events daily, and king/toah NMs when have enough. Right now our roster is at 18 members, so there are about 6-8 spots I'll be looking to fill. We are very active, and work very hard for our members. Our loot system is (In my opinion) one of the best I've run across. It's something that has been tweaked over and over again, and frequent input from LS members is welcome. No system is perfect, but we try and keep things as fair and unbiased as possible. Our loot system also prevents older, inactive members from maintaining a strangle hold on rare drops in the shell. We have a strict attendance requirement for the shell to remain on the roster. The LS members are very outspoken and fun to play with. We are all very critical of each other, so we are always developing our characters as a result. Ventrilo is very funny, as long as you aren't too squeamish or easily offended.

As for events, I'll cover them in more detail.

Sea - We have a ton of torques and capes in the shell. We have started selling extras to make a little extra cash for the bank. We alternate farming in the mornings between sea and sky, taking breaks some weeks as to not burn out. We can kill all the inside jailers with 6 or less, but we'll use anyone that comes. Assuming jobs allow it, we will always try to divide into smaller groups to farm many NMs to increase efficacy. Daily farming on weekdays (alternating)

Sky - We don't really need much from sky, we will mostly just be farming up Kirin sets and helping people with pop sets for gods. Daily farming on weekdays (alternating)

Limbus - We are probably one of the best limbus groups on Bismarck. Even with as few as we have atm, we still manage to farm many chips and sets on the weekends which allows us to pop an Ultima or Omega every Tuesday, sometimes multiple. With so few members to gear up, even our mules are getting drops now. Twice a week (multiple runs per day)

Einherjar - We have a private shell we use to fill out our numbers for Einherjar. We easily cleared out to Tier 3, but we lost 8 people in a couple months which set us back. With the LS at full staff it will be a cake walk getting back to Odin. Twice a week.

Dynamis - We are one of the best Dynamis shells I've been a part of. Low numbers makes it much more challenging. We don't let that set us back tho, clearing more then most larger groups. Dynamis is a lot more fun and everyone plays a much greater role when you take so few in. Not to mention the waiting list for most gear is a lot shorter when you have so few. Twice a week.

ENM/BV2 - We have a very good system for ENMs and BV2 that allow us to spend the least time farming possible. We do the Bahamut BC every week as a result of our stockpile of orbs. Weekly runs.

Salvage - This another area where we really stand out. With out question we are best end game LS for salvage on Bismarck, and most likely one of the best cross server. We have unlocked over 100 salvage pieces and we have been doing salvage for much less time then many older shells. With only 18 members in the shell, all of our members have many pieces, and we have many that are rotting or being sold. We have an LS funded system to unlock Salvage bodies for LS members, and our shell has the most unlocked salvage bodies on our server. Usually host 3 runs daily, some earlier and some later to try and give everyone a chance to go. 2-4 runs daily.

HNMs & Kings - With more members we'll be camping anything we have ToD for. We do prioritize main events over kings, so people who enjoy camping kings should also be flexible schedule wise, as some of the camps are very early or late. This is something we will be doing more often once our roster is filled out again.

As for what we are looking for, we don't really have individual jobs we are looking for. We are looking for skilled, flexible players. Read the following link, it covers expected attendance, jobs, gear, and merits to qualify:
    http://nineinchninjas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8675
This link has what is expected of trial members and how to apply:
    http://nineinchninjas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8307

We are looking for a solid main tank, paladin perf., who also has at least 1 other useful job at 75. The person should be very active, as it takes a great deal of time and energy to properly gear out tank jobs.

Other then that, we will be recruiting 6-8 more members for trial, any applicants that have read over and feel they are a good fit for the shell are welcome to apply. We are very active, this is a good shell for people who really love to play this game, and play it often.

Been lazy about the front page update, will get around to it soon.
Also, this thread is till in the old forum, if someone could move it I would appreciate it.
