i think the bigger mystery is why is anyone believing this.

SE has never answered like that in any of their interviews... the overall tone just sounds like someone trying to mimic a very helpful developers panel... if this interview was taken over the course of the fanfest, then how come all the other questions about AA weren't answered like this.

they mention they're happy to hear it's not broken... but i really doubt after the 1st interview they got so concerned that they rushed 1st thing to phone back to japan and have their programmers drop what they're doing and check it.

Plus, even if it's legitimate, there's absolutely nothing significant about the number 3, or any reason to believe they hinted that birdman cape dropped from AA.

The devs have no control over whether someone asks a question about birdman cape after a couple questions about AA. So they'd just be honestly asking "Why are you talking about Birdman Cape? We're talking about Almighty Apkallu".

The devs also have no control over whether they get asked 3 or 5 or 10 questions.

So, even if it's legit, quit assuming there's meaning behind the number 3 or the response to the birdman cape question.

I mean, what else do you expect them to say in the event that there really is no connection?

They could just simply be asking an innocent question: "Why are you asking about that? We're discussing Almighty Apkallu."

The first 2 were AA, if the 3rd one is not related to AA, they are not going to answer it?
