How about we discuss Almighty Apkallu some "moar" sense that's what the OP is named.

The AC was gone there for a day i believe it was? On Midgard. I made it a point to ride the boat a few times and was talking with some one on it about Almighty Apkallu. They said they thought it could possibly be something about a quest we aren't sure how to complete or unlock or something. Alot like Ravin Raven. But if you look back to Goblin Wolfman how long was that Parade Gorget in the .dat's before we figured out what to do? Infact, we didn't really "figure it out" SE had to give us clue's like they did with AV, even though we haven't figured him out yet. Maybe they will eventually give us clue's as to what to do to pop him. We did figure out Ravin Raven finally.

It's got to be either 2 things imo.

It's either something like Vivian or Taisaijin where it has some strange, stupid pop condition (the apkallu hate theory could be part of this).

Or it is something like Goblin wolfman. Maybe there is some kind of item we need to be in possesion of, or something really random like a certain mercenary rank. This would be the force pop some how theory.

Edit : Was just talking to a friend. Does anyone remember those NPC Apkallu you can feed fish to, who will follow you around indefently? Maybe this has something to do with it. I mean he is "Almighty" Isn't that basically saying he's their king?

Well, you can also do the exact same thing in Arrapoggo Reef (sp?) with some of the NPC penguins there. No one ever figured out what they were for, or why they would follow you. Sounds very possible that it could be something pertaining to that. Also, did anyone ever find out exactly how to reset Apkallu hate?

As of yet has anyone with ZERO hate rode the ship trying to pop it yet? I've never killed one that I can remember, maybe I'll try riding a few times.

Has anyone tried eating different seafood(fish) dishes while riding to attract it? This is something I'll try if no one else has by the time I can tomorrow.

Sorry if these have been tried, I've only skimmed through these last few topics. I know different levels of hate have been mentioned but just curious about the absolute no hate thing.

Could they be attracted to gear or something in your inventory? Qiqirn are attracted to shinies, what are Apkallu attracted to?

If one person in the party has max hate, the other people in the party still do 0 damage. Would have to have max hate person pop it so other people could kill it. Sounds kinda lame to me if that's was the case.

I think i'll try sailing to Aht Urhgan while the undead are advancing next time they start preparing, i have decent hate (frigid shuffle and beak lunge are unlocked).
