Nyzul Isle Drops...

We have just started doing nyzul isle assaults really and reached floor 20. You fight faf/behemoth/adamantoise there. We have now been there twice and gotten no drops at all. When you get to the floor, there is a NM and a rampart. Do you need to kill the rampart first or something for the drops to occur? Is the drop rate just really bad?

Just wondering what to expect, I hope some of you that have more experience with it can shed some light upon it.

Nope, don't need to kill the rampart for an item to drop off the nm.

I have found it to be 2/5 drop rate with TH4. Take that for what it's worth, my experience only (35+ farming runs).

I think the Rampart is just there because it's supposedly what summoned the boss. The practical upshot of it is that you have something to TP up on before the boss. 40% drop rate seems about right to me.

Without a THF, we went about 1/12 (lolDenali). We decided there has got to be something wrong with this so we threw some TH4 on that bitch and went 3/3 the next assault day. All in all we've got 4 Goliard Clogs and 4 Denali Boots out of about 25 Floor 20 runs. Damn you Askar -.-

Without any kind of TH the drop rate B-L-O-W-S, and it doesn't get any better until you get to floor 100.

We almost always pull the rampart to build TP before we fight the boss, so killing that has nothing at all to do with increasing the drop rate.

Our assault static has one person cleared through floor 95, and two people cleared through floor 40+. We're trying to hold off on clearing 100 until we can farm all the armor pieces that people are after. At this rate, we should be finished by April, 2016.

It's my understanding, which is frequently wrong, that if you just pump it out 1-100, erase disc, and go back through its 100% drop from every kill, is this accurate?

If so if you do the math out, especially groups w/o TH3 or above (mine) wouldn't it be better to just spam through then go farm after?

TH2+ seems to make a dramatic difference on these drops. I have seen 1/12 without TH, 3/4 with TH3 so far

It was my understanding that only the floor 100 will be a 100% dorp. Kill, 100% drop, disc erased, no more 100% drops until the next floor 100 with new disc.

Ouch, we've actually been hoping for some Goliard instead of Askar on 20s lately.


On topic, about 33% for us, although we've got ridiculously bad luck when it comes to 60+s and drop rates, only seeing 1 Askar body in like 6 clears but a higher drop rate on 20s.

Unless the OP was mistaken in some way, and this was not the first time that group had killed the floor 20 for that guy's save, then it's not a 100% drop for at least floor 20. darquenine may be correct about the 100% drop for floor 100, but I cannot confirm.

I've been curious about the "100% drop on floor 100"... is that a 100% chance that all headpieces will drop, or 100% that you'll see at least one? I'd assume the latter since the former sounds a bit too generous - though it would really suck to spend your saved data getting a headpiece other than the one you're aiming for.

To be honest... our drop on nyzul. 1 askar feet out of nearly 25~30 runs. And the only drop is w/o TH4 during that time

SE said in an earlier update for Nyzul Isle that they will reward the people completing floor 100 with a 100% drop on any one of the three head pieces, but not all of them.

PS: I'm fairly certain the discholder's memory has to be erased to get the 100% headpiece so if you do the warp trick it's not 100%? (But is it 0%? that I dont know >_>)

I've farmed every boss floor of Nyzul Isle with TH3, and have to say the drop rate is about 2/5, as said above.

For the 100th level, if everyone kills the boss and allows the disc holder's disc to erase, it's a 100% weapon and head drop. Disc holder receives the Runic Key key item.

If disc holder warps on the 100th level, 100% weapon and a regular drop rate on head.

If you're doing 100th a second time with a discholder's Runic Key item and discholder does not warp out, 100% head drop and 100% weapon drop according to the disc holder's current job.
