Samurai Roll Numbers~

Wanted to get some precise numbers on Samurai Roll... I went out on NIN/BLM single wielding some Lv 4, 227 Delay Katana.
Yinnyth was my Corsair, I didn't get a chance to repeat the tests with a SAM in pt.

SAM 1 = Store TP+7
SAM 2 = Store TP+32 --- Lucky
SAM 3 = Store TP+10/11
SAM 4 = Store TP+12/13
SAM 5 = Store TP+14
SAM 6 = Store TP+4 --- Unlucky
SAM 7 = Store TP+15/16
SAM 8 = Store TP+20/21
SAM 9 = Store TP+22
SAM 10 = Store TP+23/24
SAM 11 = Store TP+40

BUST = Store TP-10

To get these numbers I attacked the mob 10 times and recorded the TP. Roll TP/Base TP, and figured out which Store TP numbers made the data pan out. I didn't use any Store TP gear, I was NIN/BLM, I single wielded. Here's the raw data:

SAM 2 - 80

SAM 4 - 68

SAM 7 - 70
SAM 8 - 73

cool info kirschy, athankya. Is there any good data out there for /COR results with/without the job in the party? just curious how a combo like like rng/cor, war/cor or sam/cor could work out if the boosts actually ended up being somewhat decent.

Subbing /COR gives 1/2 the strength of the normal roll, but job bonuses still apply (job bonus is also 1/2 normal strength, though). This has been verified with Chaos and Corsair's Rolls, so I think it's pretty safe to assume that it applies to Samurai Roll as well. So if you are playing say RNG/COR and roll XI on Samurai Roll, you'll get Store TP + 20. You'll get slightly more than that if you're SAM/COR or have a SAM in the party, though.

with sam roll 11, I was getting 25TP/hit with 480 delay polearm lol

Redvenomweb tested it a couple of days after the change, SAM in PT gives +10 store TP to all rolls.

Yea I heard the bonus for having job in pt was equal to the bust amount. Didn't realize someone had already tested, was mostly posting so someone could update the wiki. I plan on tseting the mnk roll in a similar way, unless there is data for that? Does anyone know?

I tried to test monk roll as cor/bst but its almost impossible solo as anything that can survive 10 hits is likely to hit you atleast once for atleast 1 damage. I got fed up with it after about 20 minutes having only got data for 1 number

COR/BST with someone to voke with shadows would do it fine. You can even make it easier, a warp cudgel gives exactly 10 tp per hit to the mob (7tp to you, +3tp for hitting the enemy).

Someone previously had a Spreadsheet with all of the Corsair roll effects, and the odds of double up Vs. holding at that number, Has that been updated with the new rolls?

I designed the original spreadsheet, but Redvenomweb has been hosting it and keeping it updated with new rolls. So far we only have data for about 1/2 of the new rolls - he has noted which rolls have current data on the newest version of the spreadsheet:
