Dude. Lockon Stratos and his Gundam Dynames are made of total win. Not only does he have a Haro, but the way the Gundam uses it's Sniper Rifle is sweet, with the eye lense over the actual visual eyes of the Gundam when he's shooting.

The Haro came from the original Mobile Suit Gundam, actually. Wasn't just a carry over. It's been in a bunch of different Gundam animes.

According to wikipedia, 25ep for the first season. Can only assume there will be 25 more later, like Gundam Seed. I was hoping it would be shorter, 50 ep anime usually feel dragged by the end.

That's if you rush episodes. I get a sense this will slow it's pace a bit. Like today. Generally you get a big long backstory on the separate characters within the first couple episodes, but if they slow the pace here and work it in, it may work. FMA was 50+ episodes afterall, which is good. That is if you liked FMA. (<3'd it.)

Yes, but for every good 50 episodes anime you could name, there is 10 times more bad one. Gundam Seed/Destiny being the best example of a 50 episodes anime that would have been better with the 26ep format.

Really liked the first ep, honestly. Thank god for the god damned change from SEED. Although, I can already see a couple elements pulled from other series (besides the obvious, of course), however, it's worked out nicely I think.

Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam are the only good 50 format type episodes for gundam. ZZ kinda got killed because of the fag that tried to direct it from 1-20+ until tomino returned but it was still horrible and couldn't save it.
