Following some fairly mixed luck today I managed to hit 3 Scorpion Harness +1's in a row. <3 Break HQ HQ HQ

Sadly though I also hit 5/6 machuitl +1, I did it not realising I had my aquilo's on... I think I may have been facing in a HQ direction to. SE toys with me and I think I'll have to follow the stupid theories for a week or so :/

That happened to me 10 times when I was leveling smithing. I think it's just something to do with the synth like tzar's egg.

How are your T0's/HQ rates now? Cause I did HQed several Darksteel Pick +1's when I was one that stage, and am hoping it won't come back to bite me.

i think 1/1 or 1/2 lifetime on the mask - not sure if i ever made one before..
2/10~12 or so on the subligar, also made a -1 harness a few weeks ago that i never posted ^^;

Story time!

Given my history of bad randoms and lots, I've deduced that SE hates me when it comes to anything involving luck. So I usually don't craft anything. However, for some odd reason I decided I wanted to make signed blessed +1 gear (sans briault) for myself.

But first, I decided I was going to finally level clothcraft to 100 because I was tired of seeing it at 99. So I saved up and bought 3 stacks of ingredients to make briaults. My wallet hated me. On the last synth, I dinged 100, so I was happy even in the face of how much gil I just flushed. Now, I have never HQed anything while skilling up from 1-99. So as a present, SE decided to HQ my 10th briault synth. All I could think of was "Wow, what a waste of a Tier 0." But it put me at 1 of 4 HQ Blessed pieces without even trying, so I had to keep it.

About a month later I had enough gil to buy 3 more stacks of ingredients to try the trousers. I'm figuring I used whatever luck I may have had on the briault and I'd be making these forever. I get myself all set up in the cloth guild.... and then HQ the trousers on the first synth. I could somehow hear SE laughing at me. Since I had all this galateia I figured I might as well try for the mitts, so I picked up some cotton and started synthing those. HQed them on the six synth. Now I really knew SE was laughing at me. Now to sell back all these unused ingredients.

I guess that was where all the HQs I didn't get while skilling up were hiding. The really sad part is that I was trying to make an Aristocrat's Coat for an LS member not too long before and I was 0/22.

Now I need to start stockpiling for some HQ pumps, which I'm sure I'll go 1/100 or something on to make up for it.

Broke the latent on the genie weskit synth...now 4/140! 4 hq's in last 24 synths :D Don't have the digicam atm...fiancee left it at work so I can't match Ramzii's SS right now. Doubt I'll move any of them soon, so I'll get a pic up eventually.
