I don't even like Japanese people using wwwwwww. I think I'd be ok with it if it was just 'w', but seeing 'wwwwwww' to me looks the same as some asshole typing 'lolololololololololol'. Its irritating to me.

"So, we've decided. "lol" (AKA "Laugh Out Loud") is dead. We've killed it. All the cool kids (read: Plunkett, McWhertor, me) have ditched the "lol." It's kinda hard to type. Well, not that hard, but still. And "ha"? That actually is too hard to type. We're going with "wwwww" or any of its variants: WwWwWw, WwwwW, wWwWw, WWwww, etc... The five Ws is purely arbitrary — more is welcomed! Those who spend time on the Japanese internet recognize the "wwwww" as being short for "warau" (??), the Japanese verb for laugh. So "wwwww" is the equivalent of "lol". The nice part about it is that its flexible. Meaning? If something is really funny, you can go "wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww." But if something is kinda funny, a "wwww" is fine. That is easier to type than "lolololololol," and like I said, it's flexible. LOL? Gone, done and dusted. Wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww."

I'm already used to it, aside from the years in XI, 95% of my MSN friends are japanese and it's nonstop. I've even started seeing it on WoW. At first when people did it on wow or myspace or whatever fucking place, I thought it was a mistake or something. I honestly cant stand when I see teenage white kids doing this, but I guess there is no escape from it now. Now that I think about it though, "lolololololololol" is pretty fucking annoying. I don't really like long strings of w's either, the set of 5 they do on that site is annoying as fuck. Just one is enough, one.
