Good lord was that episode amazing.
"I know it's wrong, but I just want my own room."
I wonder if they are going to have the balls to show the BET episode.

i hope they air it too.
what's the story on that anyway? what's BET holding over AS's head that's holding them back from airing it? i dont think they sponser the show, are they both owned by turner or something?
They are threatening to sue Cartoon Network if they air it.Originally Posted by aru

See, it's extra funny because I help my girlfriend watch the neighbors kid E.J. from time to time, and he's A LOT like Riley at times, and Huey at times, just with less cussin and shit.
I love this show, and personally I say fuck BET, Boondocks has done a lot more by poking fun at black stereotypes, and our two faced nature as humans, than BET ever has.
uhggg... i assume they are sueing based on libel/defamation which more than likely means that the episode will not hit the DVDs either =/They are threatening to sue Cartoon Network if they air it.
but i thought that if it was just the writer's opinion on BET that his opinion is a valid defence against libel. am i wrong? i dont know law all that well.
They could easily use satire as a defense, but that won't stop a lawsuit and the money it would cost to defend in the courts. So instead of fighting in court and winning, it would be much easier for Cartoon Network's corporate overlords to be a bunch of punks and never show the episodes or include them in the DVDs.Originally Posted by aru
And yes, there are supposedly two episodes that BET will not allow Cartoon Network to air. There is another one named "The Uncle Ruckus Reality Show" in which Uncle Ruckus gets a reality TV show on BET.
Is there another place to watch the EP, or a way to full screen it on that website? Tiny video is tiny.
Click the "watch video" button to make it normal sized then hit the window button icon to make it full screen.
Where's the watch video button? I tried turning off noscript and even viewing the page in IE, but I still didn't see it.Originally Posted by Ryko

There's just the clip that was linked earlier and there should be another around somewhere. Aaron McGruder posted it on YouTube, but it got taken down.
Found a site that has the other clip of The Hunger Strike that I saw:

The slogans are the best part of the clip.
The Wal-Mart part was pretty good as well.Originally Posted by Tomiko

Season 2 DVD is out today. Love this show.
Definitely considering buying this.
Only $34.99 at Best Buy. Definately worth the price tag considering it can provide months and months of laughter. I still watch Season 1 DVD from start to finish.
Thanks for the heads up about it being out.
I saw in the Amazon.com reviews that the 2 episodes that weren't shown are on the DVDs, so I'll definately be picking this up. (I already was planning to, but those will be an added bonus)
