I went and tested the FP totals and they are the same. I am still unsure about jobs, but it seems likely they are the same. Until I find a drg plate, I won't know for certain. Either way, I made individual pages you can access from the main skeleton page just in case.

Basically, the page was once meant to be more useful than just an index.

It's a index for the contents in the category. And I wouldn't call it just an index, it's also a nice quick reference page. You still haven't listed any advantages to having it your way, which would be cluttered. If someone wanted to see information on Crawlers in Pankration(without knowing how to access the Crawler (Pankration) page), they shouldn't have to deal with every NM in the game, let alone every single monster in the game of every family. Can you stop complaining about it?

And if somebody wanted to have a BLM/RDM base mob they would have to go through every mob family and sort through it to find what starts as that.

What you call cluttered I call informative.

And we wouldn't have every monster, we would only have monsters that are NOT the standard listed.

BLM/RDM would be noted in that family's slot on the category page. If they wanted to see which NM(s) gave that combo, they click on the page, but it would still be easy to find a BLM/RDM base monster.

Hehe, sorry I was using the format on the template (from category:Template) that was provided for pet starting levels.

I made a new Pankration category: Feral Skills.

Also, is pankration monster level based on the level of the monster. Well duh, but I mean can you predict their levels through their level outside the pit? Perhaps it's something as simple at level/10 rounded up.

(Oh, they all have to be able to be able to participate in Pankration).

The page as you had it before it was changed did have normal mobs an would have been super-DUPER long.

Okay, I retyped this line a few times and instead of being sarcastic I'll just say it. Unique starting jobs given by NM's are nice, but nobody pickes a mob based ONLY on it's starting job combo while ignoring important things like what mob family it is.

Done some tests and pankration mobs starting level appears to be mob level/9. It may be something more like 8.5-9, because a lvl 79-81 mob seems to always start at lvl9. Same with a 43-46 mob starting at lvl5. Or it just uses the highest possible level for that mob in that zone ,in cases of mobs with same name with different levels in different zones, it would use that zones mob level.

Ok I just started pankration, and I know there has been a lot of talk on this forum about job traits, magic scrolls, etc. but I can't find a definitive answer on what they do, or if they're needed.

For example; I'm using a thf/rdm Eft, do I need to set thf job traits or rdm job for it to have evasion bonus, fast cast, etc? Do I need black/white magic scrolls to get it to cast rdm magic? I would test it for myself, but everything I've fought in the pit is like 20+ levels above my pet, and he just gets KOed in a couple hits.

Also, does adding a "bonus" skill stack with a job trait? Like evasion bonus plate on a thf monster?

To get access to THF's traits, you need THF Traits plate.

To get access to RDM's traits, you need RDM Traits plate.

I'm not sure how Red Magic works...

and Job traits and other Feral Skills do stack. So do things like Evasion+15%.

Ok thanks, thou there isn't much (good) information here about magic. Should I bother giving my thf/rdm eft black magic(or white magic)? Will he just spam shit like stone1, or is there a way to get them to use sleep and dispel reliably?
