I managed to snipe a bid on ebay and snag it for 28 bucks, cartridge only.
That would be a killer pickup for 10 bucks on the VC on the Wii if they release it.
I'm sure Atlus still has the licensing for it.

Think somebody mentioned it earlier, but a good place to get the 64 emulators (and other assorted ones) is http://www.emulator-zone.com/. I ended up converting most of my games into ISOs for use with the emulators, just easier to keep everything in one place.

the speculation was that Matsuno was going to revive the franchise after he was done with FFXII (so much for that).

i liked the original game much better, more optional characters, bigger stages, more endings.
the first game had more game, the second one had a better presented story.
