18 might take you a bit to figure out and 19 is a fairly long level so you've still got some lengthy playtime ahead of you.

PS: The challenge modes are insane. Some just don't seem possible by any stretch of the word. On the first one I was able to do it with only using 9 portals and doing it in under 40 seconds, but I cannot for the life of me do it while only taking 30 steps.

Anyone else who was hoping Portal would have had a bare-bones multiplayer system for the mod community to expand upon?

Was always hoping Valve would toss in a last-minute multiplayer functionality so I could solve puzzles with friends.
(think of all the 'portal-chaining' fun you could have on puzzle maps)


Regardless, excellent little game, had me laughing badly in those hidden rooms with all the graffiti/cube-fetish pictures.

Just spent a couple hours playing through from start to finish. Have to say I am thoroughly impressed. Some of the levels were fairly challenging, and I loved the twisted sense of humor. There were several moments when I just had to stop what I was doing to laugh at whatever the computer was saying over the speaker.

"Failure to comply will result in a negative mark on your record, followed by death." Oh, ok, well when you put it that way!

Oh, and is anyone surprised that you come out alive at the end? Or at least it seems that way. I spent the entire game thinking I was going to die eventually in some cruel and sadistic way, or at least the G man would show up and take me away. Speaking of the G man, did he make any appearances? I kept my eyes peeled for him but never saw him anywhere.

This was one of the most enjoyable games I have played in a long time. Can't wait for user created levels if they do show up, only downside is they will most likely lack the funny robot.

Ok. I've been trying for awhile now, and I can't figure out for the life of me how to get that portal mod from the last page going. I can get the game open, but then once i start a game, I can't do anything. The room to the door never opens, and if I try to glitch myself outside I go through the floor and fall forever

Damn, this game was a lot funnier than i would have expected it to be lol.
The bonuses are crazy hard though, especially the challenge-step ones. I've got a lot of them though (100% on Advanced levels and 26% on Challenges, golds for challenge-portals on 13, 14, and 16). They just keep getting harder and harder lol. Anyone else still actually trying to beat these challenges?
