I'm stuck on level 18. That part with the huge lava pit and those pillars that the shootie robots used to be on. All I need to is get the fucking cube, but I cannot get up to the second balcony/room thing no matter what I do. =( If only I had like a super magnetic gun I could snap it off as I jump off the moving plate. =(

EDIT: Nevvvvermind, I think I figured it out just by watching the video. I don't have time to test right now but I'm pretty sure that's how you do it.

Amazing game. Played all the way through story mode without help. If you think you're stuck, you really just need to look harder, I didn't find anything to be overly complex. The thing that hung me up the most was probably getting up in that damn vent on the way to the fan after the rocket launcher doodad. Eventually I just ran with my original idea, and that ended up working even though it was horrendously tipsy.

lol oh... you're on the first run through the game... I was going to send you a video I made of the advanced level...

Ya the campaign version is very easy. Use the pellet, take out the sets, then ride the plat to the other wise, drop into the 1st chamber. Hit switch, portal on wall, use that drop to momentum off the wall that came out from the switch, fly across to the 2nd chamber, grab cube. Rinse repeat with cube, bring it back through. Not hard at all lol... the fun part is definetely the room after that room though. Almost made me sick XD

Just spent 3 hours going through the story mode, and I greatly approve of this game. Nothing terribly difficult but I did die a few times.

Just beat it in about 1.5 hours. Holy shit that was so much fun, and so unique, and I literally laughed out loud about 100000 times (especially during the ending song). Definitely worth the purchase :D

I'm now only a couple medals away from 100% challenges :D Got all the golds for Portals and Time, and I think I had 4 gold out of 6 for Steps + 1 Silver. The challenges are much harder than any of the other parts of the game imo lol.

hey guys and gals i got a question or 2 about video cards you have been using for this.

i waited for this game forever, and i finally got it and realized my video cards horrible for it, so i just ordered a brand new one. Half life 2 never lagged for me the 100 times i played it thru, and then episode one would lag a lil bit, and now episode 2, portal, and tf2 the video lags soooo bad.

can a few ppl post the vid card they use for this game, if the game runs nice and clear for you?

iirc, you had to shoot a portal on the back wall of the platform yer on, then one of the floor perpendicular to it, and just fall through it a couple times to build enough momentum to fling yourself up above to the opposite side.

yea, i got it last night. The ending was awesome lol.

One of the best games I have ever played. Those 3 college kids valve picked up for Nabicular Drop are geniuses.

My favorite part was the "curiosity module" from the last boss, when you pick it up "Ooh what's that? Look at that! What's that?? That thing has numbers on it! Oooooh!" That and the robot over the intercom "I told them not to cut the cake but they didn't listen to me, there's still some left if you hurry up."

7900 GTO (a gtx with slower clocks) everything @ max @ 1680x1050 res. I can sense some slow downs in fps but otherwise it runs 40+ fps.
