Why do people like this exist? Inbreeding? I can't think of any reason someone would be raised to behave this way, I can't even think of how they would convince themselves acting this way is perfectly acceptable and the only ones to blame are the people that don't like them. Hopefully you can get rid of it with GM calls, but given the way it has been acting (and the stuff it has apparently done in the past) it may just buy some more accounts to harass you or try to do something REALLY crazy. Let's hope that doesn't happen :<

I actually think it's the opposite, that internet creates more "strange" people. People are more likely to do as they please and things they usually wouldn't do when hiding behind the anonymity of the intarweb.

See I'm one of the people that rushh gave headaches to. Those things belkin posted about her little "conversations" and mules trying to contact him all sounds so familiar to me back in the day when she used to cause me some trouble. It all pretty much started when she called my friends out on our money makin scheme back in the day. She kept on bitching about how she thought we bought gold all the time and she never had any proof to back it up until one day I showed everyone exactly how we camped cassie for the cape and earring all for ourselves (for about 2-3 months? secret camps etc.). Basically I made a complete fool out of the psycho bitch in front of the whole server. After that, she asked for a truce cuz she got overwhelmed by the reputation that I made for her.

Anyway I dug up the thread about this crazy bitch from a while back. Read about it if you're bored lol.

But to echo what Izzy and Wizerd, I know personally of two couples who met through FFXI. Both are now living together quite happily, and neither were by any means living close to each other. I mean, one couple moved from Florida to California to be with the girl he met, and last I heard they were married. (They both have since quit FFXI.) The other couple, the girl moved from Canada to Sweden to be with her guy, and they had a child together a few months ago.

Granted, they are the exceptions to the rule, but there are exceptions. One shouldn't look for love in the game, but if it presents itself, you should give it a chance. It could work out if both people are sincere.

Rushh, however, I hope stays out of Cerberus. But, needs more conversation screenshots.

Uh, probably gonna get laughed at a bit for this but whatever. I started playing FFXI outright trying to avoid relationships, but I still ended up meeting my future wife not long after starting playing. We talked a lot, got to know each other, and yeah, we eventually got married. I was in Canada at the time, her in the States... though I've been staying in the States for a while now. So more people to add to the list of meeting from long distances and still getting together!

I dunno, its funny how people talk shit about online relationships, and that anyone who gets involved in them is stupid... but then you tell them you got married to a girl you met playing video games, and its like "oh hey, thats cool". Its kinda weird sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I said I never wanted to get involved with anyone on a video game because it was something I thought was retarded when I was hearing about it happening on EQ years ago.... I laughed at those people, and ultimately became one of them myself So I expect a little fun at my expense sometimes.

Its cool though. You spend time getting to know them on a game you're likely going to spend a lot of time on anyway. Its obviously a major interest. I get to spend quality time with my wife all the time, and we both get to have fun doing it, instead of one of us dragging the other to places they don't want to go. We do things together, so there is never a bullshit "get off the computer and come to dinner" argument to worry about. And yes, people, when you're married, you DO actually get laid, so yeah... I just throw that back in to peoples faces when they try to argue with me and resort to the whole "man you'll never get laid playing a video game all day." Ah my friends, you've never tried sex and Dynamis at the same time (and I got Monk dorp while we were doing it). But hey, too much information!

But yeah, don't get involved on the internet, too much drama usually. Don't get me started on how shitty immigration is....
