If your looking for more info on fish bots i cant give you much more then what people said above. Basic stuff is what they said. Everything is done on your side so its somewhat easy to set a /wait time for when you want to kill it.

As for why he does not stop fishing its an easy answer there is no value for when youe invo is full. Your invo on your side is reset when you zone. (this is also the reason why the dude who makes apradar said for the latent checker you need to zone)

lots of shit is updated as you zone. So for fish botting idk how you would fix it. If anyone has more info that wants to fill us in on by all means do so.

edit: nvm i did think of a way ~_~ you can use windower to read the chat i think. so i mean it should not be hard to set it to stop when it sees anything odd.

As far as testing the aura affects is concerned... i was thinking about recording the time it takes for a moat carp to deplete automatically. perhaps a sample of 100 w/o moglification, a sample w/ weak aura, and a sample with overwhelming aura.

Would this be an adequate test or would i actually have to test manual reel speeds?

from what i know, it deplete the stamina bar like a penguin ring in effect

however it only affects depletion rate and not the rod movement, unlike penguin, which decrease both

It's kind of hard to quantify it if i have to test the manual rod depletion since FPS affects that. I typically fish gugru/lik at 14-16 fps so i don't think that would be best. I could most certainly come to a conclusion if anything was, say, really noticable with these fish, but i couldn't really quantify it.

I'll probably attempt to 'test' this on trumpet shells at native fps (29-20) since they have a lot of 'HP,' and i would be able to tell if they were easier right off the bat.

yea, you yourself will be able to tell for sure since you been fishing so long already

dont worry about tiers. if you notice the stamina deplete rate at 101 aura moglification, that will already make 781267 people rush for it

im sure people with signboard wont mind spending 36k on 9 cabinet and sacrifice 9 mog space when they wanna fish (can always send those cabinent to mule when u not fishing)

Going to have to disagree there. There are memory values for your inventory. If there weren't they the game wouldn't be able to display them. The reason it's not so simple for the latent point checker is because the information is kept server side and it sends it client side every time you zone.

But yeah, in only a few minutes of memory searching I found the memory location for current inventory. I'm sure with a couple more minutes I could find a static pointer for the location as well. With that all you'd need is to have the bot have a box or settings file where you enter in your maximum inventory and then program it to stop itself whenever your current equals your max. It's quite easy to do, and that's why I said he deserves it for using such a crappy bot. lol

Since Gugrusauri on my server were only 15k each, I was fishing up Trumpet Shells for gil so I could buy them (My reasoning being that I thought I could make more gil per hour than I could fishing gugrus up, so it was the most economical strategy). Of course, when I was ready to start buying, they went back up to 20k.

And now it's at 30k, and there are a couple of people on our server desperate enough to keep buying them all out.

orz I'm sure it will go back down to 20k, since that seems to be the average on all servers, but until them, I'm going to have to wait my turn...
