it's not due to time restrictions. the number i listed is caught gugrus, not bites. you will lose many to line snaps. sharks bite too making you reach cap faster. you will fatigue well before the day is over.

Reeling in 30-40 liks/gugs will not cap your fatigue. I'm not sure if it's different for Lu, but I've fished up more than that per day. I obviously also cancel all other fish, don't reel them in and they won't effect your fatigue.

Yeah you guys heard I fishbotted, back now though, sorry if that hurts some peoples morals and stuff D:

Tested and found that fish you release due to full inv do not count towards stamina, had about 180~190 carps reeled in so I was right at the edge of losing stamina, set up and caught/released easily 50 tacitaros in one sitting, and no that was way before JP midnight so my stamina was not reset.

Think I learned my lesson, no more botting, D:

Amusing though that after half a year so of using it of all the things I got caught on it was a non for profit fish in the middle of nowhere...

On another note, yeah I was caught botting by a passerbye, and accoridng to them and a topic on qcdn, they did report me to a GM.

I was not banned, I never got a chance to thouroughly investigate what was done to my character, but instead it turns out that I had forgotten to update my credit card a few weeks back after swapping, explaining why halfway through the period I should've been banned I couldn't log in.

2 weeks later got back from a vacation I was on and was finally able to check with SE whether I was permad or temped...

According to the chick on the phone... neither?! She then told me I neede dto update my CC info. Did so, and am doing the update as we speak.

Now here's what confuses me, I was blatantly fishbotting. I was reeling in a legendary fish in 5 secs flat, and every one was a catch and release... Any GM could take one look and know I was botting. I was reported, and the evidence was clear...

Why an earth do I not have a LM 17? The only reason I can think of is that a GM can not simply ban me for seeing me reel in quickly, he doesnt know how if I am good at fishing or what, so they have to do a simple /tell and see if I reply, maybe move my character's pos and then see if I keep trying to fish.

Thus, all I can see is maybe after getting reported, the GM took forever to do said test, paperwork and whatnot, coffe break, who knows, and I ended up DCing (I was DCed the morning after when I came to check, which is why I didnt even know I was banned, no chatlog, no message, nothing), and was unable to perform the /tell test sicne I wasnt there.

Now for all I know right now I did get banned, but it was some cheap 3 day ban or something, and by the time I got around to checking it was over, as soon as I finish this update and log in I will be able to tell, since I know when your ban is up you get sent to your HP.

If i'm still at tacitaro spot, wasnt banned, sandy, banned.

I'll post update, if I wasn't banned this seriously concerns me about SEs efficiency, cause seriously, how long does it take a GM to figure out if your a bot or not? Clearly though 13.37 is NOT working, it isn't picking anything up from me at all...

Who knows, the GM coulda just took my ebisu away instead of banning me, honestly if he did I'd have to say it was a smart move and I'd be impressed. Pissed, but impressed nonetheless.

I got home today from work as a 99.0 fisherman and decided today was the day I was hitting 100. So, I sat my butt down at Liks, full timed Albatross/Pelican's, and got to fishing. I had to reload on Minnows once but after about 6 hours of fishing and 41 successful reel in's...

dont get me wrong, I <3 fishing, its fun and awesome way to pass the time.

I just used the bot on the annoying stuff, like rarer legendaries that have terrible bite rates and the guild only wants 3, and for making money on trumpet shells, other than that pretty much the entirety of my levels have been by hand.

In fact, oddly enough, both the gugra and lik I handed into zaldon and got E rod mats from were ones I actually decided to be legit with and fish up by hand, funny how that works out huh?

That sucks man. I successfully fished up 41 liks today to go from 99-100 and wasn't anywhere near full fatigue, barely felt much fatigue at all. Someone else a page or two back had similar issues to you with fatiguing quite early for no apparent reason, after I believe 15ish legendaries. I have no doubt you're telling the truth, and I also have no reason to lie, so I wonder why it seems so sporadic and inconsistant.

Is your definition of fatigue the same as ours? Could you test it by doing one of the aforementioned methods of taking insect paste to knightswell when you think you are fatigued.

You should know that snapped lines to not count towards fatigue much like released catches. It just doesn't add up. Feel free to add logs/SS's. I've -never- had this issue so I'm hard pressed to believe it.

Grats man! I'm jealous. I'm 93.x and I just got for 0.1 a day... normally it takes me about 100 fish to get it, too... but I'm well on my way to catch up!

Anywho, so far it doesn't appear that ebisu has changed my fatigue cap, but it was a half assed test. I am noticing though that my bite rate is higher than normal, like ebisu has shaved off a few seconds of wait time on hook, anyone else notice this? It might just be lag...

I'd guess this is what SE did... made it just slightly better at reeling in fish. It's not game-breaking, but at least they updated fishing
