yeah you trade him a fish and he tells u! the quest is called "Fisherman's Heart" and u trade the guy a gugru tuna and he tells u how many times uve casted ur line and everything. pretty interesting, i just wanted to see how my stats compared.

We should get all the Ebisu rod holders to post their stats from the quest. Would be interesting to see if they tell you how many of each fish pepople caught before getting the items (asuming it shows you a fish by fish break down and those people didn't buy all their fish from AH)

Just got my Lu Shangs Rod too! Someone was selling cheap in Whitegate via shout and I scooped it up ASAP! :D Couldn't be happier with it! Fishing right now infact!!

Any recommendations for where to go at 16? I'm on the Ferry with Shrimp Lure catching Nebimonites, Noble Ladys, and Gugru Tunas currently but also open for other suggestions ^_____^

thats the best skill up you can get at 16

but waiting for ferry has pros and cons on the waiting time

Pros: can afk get drink wont be bored
cons: interrupted fishing and losing 2-5 mins of any ring you use

if u got a pelican, go SSG for nebi + skill up is better

yea, like i said, need more normal people that got ebisu to post

because it only seem lucky people post here on their ebisu records and this is getting old lol

im pretty confident that if every ebisu owners post their records, i will see an average of 600 fishes than 60

To be perfectly honest, I was dreading doing Ebisu given some people's records of 500+ per item. I'm flabbergasted (and relieved) to have scored both under a combined total of 200 fish.

Who knows, maybe it depends on the frequency of fish turned into Zaldon. On Lakshmi, Lik hardly ever sell on the AH, and the two folks I found to sell me fish hadn't found anyone to sell to for a while afaik.

Nibu, come to Lakshmi. Lol, I'll fish you fishies for free... As soon as I get a Penguin Ring or Signboard. >.>

Yes but this is over all servers! ^^ And I think many people started up (or restarted) since the Ebisu update/notes
