Im only 24 Fishing and I've already found this to be the truth, I'm making a KILLING in Sea Serpent Grotto fishing Nebs (27), Bastore Breams (86?), and Grimmonites (90) and I have no plans to leave after capping on Nebs.

Amen, if you fish for any other purpose you will not survive.

The only time you should really fish for skill is to reach 28 fast for Zaldon+GP, and to reach 78 for Ebisu, besides that though, no.

It is my understanding that SSG is only good for fishing nebimonites, the bite rate on grimmonites and bream is abysmal even with 90+ fishing.

Not true. I tend to do Neb/Grim/Bream/Cobalt at a ratio of 50/25/20/5%

Yeah I'd have to agree with these numbers for the most part. Finished yesterday with 3 stacks and change of Nebs, 13 Grims, and 1 stack of Breams. I don't pull up the Cobalts.

yay just got a double +0.2 in nashmau, 93.5 -> 93.9 !

Liks are fun but i still want to use my pelican so i'm stuck in nashmau, boring zone, takes a long time to get there, but hell it bites well there, can't wait to be 99 ^^

Working on crafting subs and am sitting at BC 33. I noticed Titanictus Shell's at 40 can use either Armored Pisces or Titanictus. Where do you think I'd get more fish per hr Ferry using meatballs for Titanictus or AP's using sinking minnow/meatball?

Follow up: If the answer is AP's, which is best minnow or meatball?

Sinking Minnow single targets Pisces. That's how I got to 100, but the bite rate is piss poor. I have no clue if Meatballs is a higher bite rate. I'll break out some meatballs later as my alt. characters capped out on Dils tonight and see how it goes.

Well, patience is helping me out. The other night I was out for an hour and got maybe .3 skillups in W. Ronfare. Last night I spent most of my afternoon and evening out there and got nearly to level 8. That's like 3 levels of skill ups. I'm quite pleased with that. Only 9800 more carp to go.

It turned New Moon while I was out there so I may try to target New and Full Moons a little more if I can.

Imo if you spend too much time focusing on catching the right moon, you'll miss too much fishing time.

Thats a pretty good point. At the moment, I'm gonna target carp and I'm not in a huge rush to level. I'm just slowly workin and trying to burn myself out.

So today's top GP fish is zebra eel, I have for the most part just skipped this fish, but is there anyone here who knows much about em?

Den of rancor onry fish it appears, which isn't exactly an easy place to get into. Anyone know of a way to get at this fish?

If you zone into Den of Rancor from Yhoator Jungle and then follow the right wall and drop down at H-9. From there just go to E-8, theres some VT scorps in the room but they seem to stay at one side so you should be able to fish up what you need without a problem. I only went once but it was no problem.
