I wouldn't be surprised to hear a confirmation that there is a finite pool of fishing available to the public and its constantly, slowly, reloading. You guys all know thats how chocobo digging works, too, right? Wouldn't be shocking that they implemented similar systems for both hobbies.

From my experience, I have been @ the cove with a bunch of RMTs and never noticed a change in bite rates due to the amount of people fishing there. I do have noticed a bite rate difference depending on the moon phase and the day. (Which i think all of us have).

With everyone fishing a single fish, or multiple different fish? Generally I've only ever had issues when it's everyone fishing the exact same thing, and I have not been to the cove yet so I am not familiar with the bite-rates of the different fish there.

Well on the cove you target 3 different fish with the same setup, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Pretty sure those cards do have a use, if you're holding the card corresponding with the Cardian doesn't it make it so that Cardian is non-aggressive towards you?

Maybe that was just a silly rumor I heard years ago, I don't know.

And when it comes to fishing out zones or having a fatigue set in due to time spent in a zone, I fish on my mule in Talacca Cove between events and HNM windows, she's literally there all day because it takes me so long to fatigue having to stop so often, never noticed any sort of fatigue due to this, ever. Also, Talacca Cove on my server will sometimes have up to 5+ people in it, never notice a decline in bite rate. Just moon phase fucks it up, nothing else.

I found Bibiky Bay to be decent compared to any other spot. It's the only fish you can hook with a Sinking Minnow, except items.

Got 2 stacks in about 45 mins :\

yeah run a fish bot but tell it to reel in the fish at 20 seconds (which is when you run out of stamina)

Its what I do sometimes when I wanna test stamina things and etc.

Looking for something more along the lines to count up how many times I cast, how many times I give up and reel my line in, how many successful pulls, and how many broken lines for a given fishing sitting. It's only for gugs & liks that I'm curious about. I have a general idea their rates, but would like to know over a long period of time.

I didn't notice any change to my ebisu fishing stamina or fishing limit per day. I also didn't notice a change in reeling in fish ... stamina depletion. Perhaps the update only effects legendary ... i have only done ryugu since the update, but they were much easier than i remember.

I am also curious, seems neither of us saw the huge post with pictures explaining the change over on the ebisu thread.
