I used Lu/Minnow (as I said in the post 5-6 above yours) on the Whitegate <-> Mhaura ferry.

Tried this today Ebisu/Minnow, Whiitegate --> Mhaura and got this:

How difficult is it to target Istiridyes once I get there? Right now I'm doing Nebimonites and it's terrible. Like 1/20, most are monsters or Norg Shells in SSG. Would the boat be better for nebs with a Halcyon even with the disturbances?

99% istiridye 1% rusty. Very rarely you'll get a mercanbaligi, ahtapot or pterogotyus bite, but only happened a few times to me from 27-53

Awesome. SSG is sucking, lol. What about the boat? Is it easier to target Nebs there? Is the fact that I'm using crayfish balls instead of shrimp lures making my nebimonite rate lower? I'm such a nub;;

I used shrimp lures but there's a risk of losing them to breams. Crayfish balls worked for me too but maybe they're only really good on the ferry? Needless to say, you might want to try that if SSG is still giving you trouble. :/

Idk about SSG w/ shrimp lures, didn't try, but the boat from Mhuara netted me 5 nebs, and on the way back right now I've just gotten 5 in a row, still going. Seems WAY better. It's either nothing (50%?) Neb (48%?) Monster (2%?). Small sample size, but, in a Borat voice "Very niiiice."

I had 0 trouble in SSG with shrimp lure, ended up cancelling most breams though until I got 20+ and could pull a few in. I did lose a couple lures (maybe 3) in my skilling there, but never figured out what it was that broke my line. Always just assumed it was Rusty Greatswords or something. SSG gives you bonus coral fragments too, got 8 there 0-27.

Where are you catching said coral fragments? I sat for a decent half hour in SSG by bridge and never hooked one using... rogue rig? May've been robber can't remember.

I caught a coral fragment in SSG with Shrimp Lure within 10 minutes of casting. I didn't fish much after that, so I'm chalking that up to pure luck.

And this is at the nebi spot? I'll go sit for a longer period, this time with shrimp lure instead (though I'll try for a good solid hour this time with RR first then swap) maybe see if I can reel in a handful.

If I can reel some in, @ 200~300K a stack I'd need to catch at least a stack every 3 hours to make money faster than liks, which is semi feasible I suppose. I'll check that out later :D
